The trip from Thessaloniki may have taken 3.5 hours there and 3.5 hours back, but what was hidden at the finish line was breathtaking! Meteora exceeded my expectations from the photos, as this magical place is even more fascinating in person. The experience you take away from this place is indescribable and I definitely recommend everyone to take this trip with Ammon Express. Our very nice and sympathetic guide Eleni told us the history not only about Meteora, but also about Thessaloniki and all the important places we passed along the way. She was willing to give advice, take pictures and was a very pleasant guide. The bus driver, Ilias, was a real pro, taking us safely up the serpentines and then driving us back to Thessaloniki in peace. Our guide Dimitra was knowledgeable, professional and kept us on track with the schedule. The bus driver was very capable. The hotels were in beautiful locations, clean and comfortable. Meals were exceptional and traditionally classic to the region. The ancient destinations we visited were remarkable. Great trip for history, mythology or just plain curious people. Having experienced numerous guided tours in the past, Christina truly sets a new standard of excellence. Her efficiency, organization, extensive knowledge, and professionalism are unmatched.
What stood out the most was her ability to navigate the crowds, ensuring we could fully enjoy the breathtaking sights of Delphi and Meteora without the usual hustle and bustle. She was attentive and helpful throughout the journey, making the experience seamless and memorable.
We highly recommend KeyTours for anyone visiting Greece, and Christina in particular for an exceptional tour experience. Even though it was a cold and rainy day, our guide made it an incredible experience and gave us a great historical background throughout our drive. Due to the weather, he took us through three different monasteries, each increasingly more exciting than the last.
Giorgos made sure we were comfortable on the entire trip. He gave us an explanation of where we would be going and the sites who would see. He also was great at giving us our own personal time to relax and enjoy the ride there and back.
The transportation was better than we could imagine. Giorgos also gave us many ideas to choose our lunch, which made it even a better experience. We eat at a local family own restaurant. They treated us so well,as if we were part of their community and family.

- MCNRG15 contributionsThe tours was well organized and well done. I contacted the travel agency and they sent me the tickets for the train and bus ride round trip. Kris was truly a phenomenal guide. He gave us info and photo ops and was so informative. He had it timed precisely. It was enough time in each monastery. We did three…the two largest and the nunnery. The trip there was long on the train and bus. Finally visiting the incredible Meteora monasteries really worth at least once in our life times. We never saw something like this in our whole life.
