Everyday new animals were spotted and the Rangers informed each other about interesting spots so you won't miss anything. I would advice that for the Panorama route, if it rains the night before or the same day don't waste your day because everything will be foggy and you won't see a thing, you can talk with the reception of the lodge (adventure lodge) and ask them to go on a full day safari instead. I paid for an extra night safari and the morning safari on the last day, both affordable and thrilling. This is one of the experiences that bring tears to your eyes, seeing the African animals roaming free it's just indescribable. The only issue that I had was the rudeness of one of the waitresses at the lodge as she apparently didn't like her job. - Ceci C5 contributionsExceptional experience! Thabang was incredibly kind and provided an unforgettable tour. Our visit to Soweto was a highlight, walking through the township and immersing ourselves in its culture. The Mandela House tour was especially moving and informative, offering valuable insights into his life and legacy.
The only drawback was that the Hendrick Pietersen Museum was closed, unfortunately preventing us from visiting. They organised transport from Johannesburg to the park (Hoedspruit)and back.
Our Hosts Lloyd, David,Trista gave us such a great time.
Lloyd is passionate about his work - he shared his amazing knowledge about all the animals, birds & fauna.
We got to see the big 5.
We went to a rehabilitation centre to see how they cared for injured animals.
The boat ride on Blyde River Canyon was spectacular.
On our last day we went on a Bush walk with Lloyd where he pointed out various plants, carcasses that leopards and hyenas had eaten.
We stayed in a 2 bedroom luxury tent with bathroom and kitchen- this was very comfortable.
Every night Lloyd and Trista cooked us an amazing large dinner- traditional South African food. You won’t starve!

The tour included everything you'd need for the 3 days, including transfer from your hotel (or airport), meals, and game drives arranged from the lodge and the tour group itself. Pilanesberg itself was incredible, and we saw 4 out of the big 5 while we were there. found that messaging through WhatsApp was the best way to contact MoAfrika (the number is on their official website).
The only thing I would mention is to be proactive about communicating with the staff. On the first day of the tour, I was picked up at my hotel and placed on a bus where I ended up being the only 3-day tour (the others were on the 1 day). As soon as I mentioned it to the tour guide, I was straightened out, but if I hadn't then there might have been some confusion. So, communicate well, communicate often, but expect an amazing time.
The Ivory Tree Lodge, where I stayed for 3 days, was an incredible location and well worth the cost. Need to first organize a tour guide since they make the tour to be informative and entertaining. The setting is fit for the purpose of hosting the origins of our ancestors dating back to about two million years ago. - Jana b2 contributionsClare was an absolute pleasure to work with when planning our trip to South Africa. She took the time to understand our travel preferences, and put together multiple different versions of the trip after we flip flopped plans on her several times. Each customized plan was exactly what we asked for, and she was so patient and accommodating with our changes and tweaks. Once the plan was finalized, Clare was very communicative and gave us clear next steps and clear expectations for the trip which was exactly what we needed to feel comfortable in their hands. As for the trip itself, everything Wild Wings Safaris put together was executed to perfection. The three day safari in Kruger was outstanding - I cannot sing Rufus' praises enough. He went so far out of his way and used his incredible knowledge of the park and animals to make sure we had the experience of a lifetime. We saw all big 5, wild dogs, and learned so much with Rufus. He was so much fun to spend time with and the dinners were some of the best meals we had on the trip! On top of the Safari, every other element of our trip was taken care of expertly. Not a single hiccup the entire time with the logistics and the pieces that we relied on Wild Wings to handle. I would use their services again 1000% and highly recommend Wild Wings for anyone planning a trip to the many places and experiences they service. The safari tour (we have seen lion, rhino, etc.. not leopard), the guide Mylord (very kind and passionated by his job), the camp was very beautiful and clean. The panoramic tour was beautiful.
And more than everything, we went at Kruger with my wife for my birthday and Nieto, manager, invites us at the restaurant to celebrate my birthday, with a night offered in a very good hĂ´tel in Mbombela.

We booked a five-day group safari with the luxury tent accommodation, and my friends, and I had an absolutely, wonderful time on the excursion. I will say that this experience is much more than just a safari. Lloyd and his crew are truly passionate about what they do and that shines through as we went on both our day- and night- time safaris inside and outside Kruger, our visit ot the Moholoholo Wildlife animal sanctuary, our cruise through Blyde River Canyon (the 3rd largest canyon in the world), and our morning nature walk.
Prior to booking our safari with Lloyd, my friends and I did much research. We wanted to find a trusted safari trip that allowed for a real personal and intimate experience, and a variety of opportunities to experience Kruger, that did not break the bank and Lloyd’s safari does just that! What really clinched our decision to book with Lloyd were the amazing reviews.
If time and price permits, I highly recommend booking the 5-day excursion because there is just so much to see at Kruger. I also recommend booking the luxury tent accommodation as it includes air conditioning and hot tub. Wifi is available; but, it is limited. Also, to note, you may experience loadshedding as most of South Africa undergoes periods of electricity shut off. The food was great and Lloyd and his crew and able to accommodate any dietary restrictions.

He also booked us an internal flight from Kruger to Cape Town which is very convenient and saves a lot of time .
Their planning was meticulous and their guides, Willem at Jo-berg and Brenda, the charming lady at Cale town were great.
