Really enjoyed going up early around 9am and enjoying the views on the 2 levels. Great light show highlighting the future of Shanghai.
We did this tower as well and Shanghai Tower. Enjoyed them both and glad I did them both.
    100% recommend

I loved this park, it’s got that Disney charm but just takes the rides up to the next level.

Let’s start with the rides: Pirates of the Caribbean and Tron just take the rides up that notch. Pirates in particular is insane about just how immersive it really is, this isn’t the pirates you’re used to but it just blows your mind as you’re going around.

The park is stunning and the theming is beautiful throughout and is topped off by the beautiful castle as it’s centre. Having watched vlogs and seen pictures before visiting, I was a little worried I was going to be disappointed and it wouldn’t have a charm as it was so big; I shouldn’t have been worried at all. The castle is perfect and the area around it is different to other Disney’s which provides great viewing areas for the nightly shows.

My only slight negative is, this park is big! It doesn’t have the same charm in some areas as it’s smaller counterparts. For example, Fantasyland is spread out so doesn’t have the same ā€˜village’ type appearance as others.

Also, I can’t wait to see what they do with this park in future. It’s clearly been built with expansion in mind so look forward to seeing how it matures and progresses.

I stayed in the Hyatt so was able to enjoy both the inside and outer view. The architecture is what sets the building apart, combining oriental details with art deco touches. For me it is the most impressive of the 3 adjacent towers. Inside it is a sea of marble and gilt. The. Jew from the hotel reception on 54 is possibly best as there are large picture windows. If you go to the bar on 89 it’s less clear and some of the views are obstructed.
I’m or sure the skywalk is currently available as it was never mentioned, not that I would contemplate it for 1 second!

NOt a bad experience. Lots of rides (more than Disneyland - or so it seems) Line for rides only take minutes so you can have a full day of entertainment

Travel from the airport to Shanghai CBD is quick, much cheaper than a taxi and hasslefree. The Maglev is well run and offers a professional transport service.

Easy to get to on Metro line 11. Great view of pits and circuit from main stand. Food stands pretty awful and expensive so bring your own except for Costco coffee.

We went to the afternoon circus for children here. Was very impressive! Acrobats, animal trainers, and clowns. The show was 2 hrs long. Good value! There is social distancing in place.

  • Very interesting bicycle tour! I think it’s the best way to become familiar with Shanghai if you visit it for the first time. It’s really great alternative option to bus tour. During this bicycle tour, you can feel a part of the city, enjoy the city sight views outdoors , and learn its historical and cultural background from amazing tour lead Q! Many thanks for such great experience :)
P.S. The heavy plus to the Chinese-cultural-shock team is for option to pay via various payment type (visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Alipay, cash), fast confirmation and advanced support.

I love a good view so I wasn't going to turn down the chance to experience the world's highest observatory deck! On the advice of friends I booked both the 118th observation floor and the 126th floor to see the damper room.

The views were great - I went in the morning on a clear day, and it wasn't too busy when I arrived. The damper room was very cool - I'm not sure the music/light show needs to be as long as it is, but the sculpture was beautiful.

Everything I found online said take exit 6 from Lujiazu station, but I found that brought me out in a weird place and you can get to/from the metro underground. Sadly I failed to register the exit number, but take a moment to read the maps and work it out on arrival. Tickets are bought at ground level, the entrance to the tower is in the basement. Bring your passport!

M2 organized a really fun and informative experience for the walking food tour. There was a huge variety of foods with a nice mix of walking and sitting. It was hot but we did stop in a few places with aircon. The food was all really good! Our guide, NanNan was really knowledgeable not only about the food but also about Shanghai in general. She told us about the local plants and traditional morning exercises that retirees do in the parks. It was a lovely experience! Would definitely recommend for any newcomers or visitors to Shanghai.

The night tour is perfect. Shanghai at night it’s stunning. Our guide Lisa, is very kind and explained everything to us. We went to old town, The Bund, and Nanjing Road, and is impossible to know wich is the most beautiful. The driver was waiting for us all the time. Four unforgettable hours. Best tour in Shanghai ever.
