Inside the yuyuan gardenWritten 3 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It’s was a trek up three stories so not for those with a weak heart. It was suggested there was one lift but we did not see it.
There we no concessions on the level. For some reason people paid for seat but insisted standing effectively blocking the view on occasions. People also stood in the stair wells, a dangerous practice not allowed at many other circuits.
Access to the track was easy on the metro which stops right outside the main entrance.
There were some displays and merchandise stands before entry. Security was very strict as is everywhere in Shanghai so allow a little extra time for searching and scanners.
There are several screens above the pit lanes so that was very helpful even though you have a great view of some of the in field.
Top tip pay for the better seats and take in soft drinks and a snack to save walking down the stairs.Written 21 May 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kari HakalaShanghai, China790 contributionsFor few weeks in April the Sakura flowers are blossoming and the most famous place is Gucun Park.
Beautiful thing for family activity for a picnic or just visit to picture the trees. There is about 500 plus other people with the same idea.
There are tents, police, cars, a wheel and hawkers that will also be in the park during holidays like today.
You can reach the park by metro or taxi, if you do not like people pushing suggestion is taxi.
If you have change take a day when everyone is at work to visit, because the park is beautiful and relaxing.
Now you do not need to stand in line, but Instead scanning a QR code to pay and show it to the quarts- love the technology.Written 5 April 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There was still quite a lot of people but the venue is extremely large so it was not cramped.
Took line 2 on the metro to longyang station and walked from there (~1km). Line 7s station is slightly closer though you still need to change trains at longyang. Follow the crowd if you dont know the way.
There were 12 large exhibition halls, each filled with large and small stalls, big and indie companies, even some individuals. There was an exhibition hall dedicated to manga/anime though most are for gaming and tech gagdets.
There are various events and activities happening throughout the day, with lots of free goodies to be had. Most just require you to use wechat to scan a qr code and follow them.
Plenty to do and see but relax take your time and enjoy the day!Written 6 August 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
