The dim sum was delicious. Traffic was lighter than expected so we arrived at the theater before it was open. Lynn improvise a short walking tour of the historic neighborhood around the theater to pass the time.
Our driver was prompt and professional. We felt very safe in the busy Shanghai traffic. Seatbelts were easily accessible, which is not always the case in China. The car was very clean and comfortable.

Of course you could buy the tickets directly from the theater, but moving around in Shanghai when you don’t speak Chinese is not easy. It is worth every penny to pay a little extra and have a hotel pick up and drop off with an amazing guide.
The services provided exceeded our expectations, the tour guide was always in touch and super kind from the moment we booked to the hotel drop off. She was worried about our preferences and flexible to make sure we had the best schedule and an absolutely surprising Chinese dinner experience.

It was a great performance. Our national guide was Cathy Lee, who was not only personable, courteous and good-humoured throughout our 13 days in-country, but also proved to be a very able tour leader and manager. Nothing was too much trouble for Cathy. All of our group agreed that, thanks to Cathy, we had had a great experience of China.
