    Excellent way of exploring Shanghai
    This tour is a must for any Shanghai visitor wanting to explore local food with an expert introduction by a local guide. Jim was excellent in explaining the origin of different foods, the history of the city and some buildings along the way. He introduced our small group to a varied selection of dumplings, noodles, fruit and skewers (including some Chinese brew), all of which were very tasty indeed. Jim also introduced us to team ceremony in a small, authentic shop which was a worthwhile addition to the tour. Overall, I can't rate this tour highly enough and will make sure to join Jim again next time I am in Shanghai.

    Shanghai Late Night Food Tour
    If you are new to Shanghai and wanting to try some local food, this is a great tour! Ding was very knowledgeable about the local food and culture and answered all of my (many) questions. It was a fun way to spend an evening and also get to see different parts of the city as well. Would definitely recommend!

    Half day Shanghai tour with customization
    Booked the half day tour for my son while I was at business meeting. I asked the company to customize it a bit for him and provide a good tour guide. They accommodated with Peggy who was like a professor. Great English, enthusiastic, etc. would definitely recommend

    A wonderful day in Hangzhou!
    We had a very pleasant time in Hangzhou. Ms. Apple met us at the hotel and took us by a private car to ride the bullet train to Hangzhou from Shanghai. The business cabin was comfortable and semi private. We were met by a nice van in Hangzhou and began our journey with a bountiful lunch with local cuisines, we had the most delicious duck soup ever! We visited an ancient temple in the city, then walked around the most famous lake in China, the West Lake. Ms. Apple gave us the history of the lake, many stories with famous people and poems that were written about the lake, we took a boat ride to a small island to get a good view of the lake. The lake was huge, surrounded by willows and beautiful lotus flowers. Then we visited a local shopping district, with an oldest herbal store and many local snacks and souvenir shops. The tour ended with Ms. Apple dropping us off at the hotel. Ms. Apple was attentive, pleasant and knowledgeable. We had a memorable day with Ms. Apple and Hangzhou.

    Immersion à Shanghai dîner et promenade sur le Bund
    The food tasting was varied even though my partner has an allergy to crustacea, Annie managed to let us taste different Chinese delicious food ! We walked around and enjoyed feeling included in the Shanghai's life. Then ended up the tour by a wonderful ride on the boat around the bund with thoses beautiful lights and massive buildings.
    This experience is totally worth it ! Thank you Annie and Sunny for your professionalism and kindness.

    Best guide in Shanghai?
    Jim was a friendly, serviceminded guide with lots of enthusiasm and knowledge. We were taken to several different spots and tasted lots of different foods, while being told the historical significance of the food and area. Prepare to be stuffed. Would give seven stars if possible.

    5 star Breakfast Tour
    Great breakfast tour with a good variety of food. Our guide, Topher, knew the neighbourhood well and we even got a bit of history tour as we strolled through the neighbourhoods. Really good for making sure there was something for everyone in our group regardless of dietary needs.

    Exclusive walk through old town Shanghai
    Very nice and knowledgeable guide. Was interesting to walk with her through old town, she explained its history. Pleasure to chat with her, she also gave hints what else to do during my stay. Tea Zeremonie have an impression what it is and background about the different tea varieties and how they taste.

    Authentic Shanghai local taste

    Perfect food tour with fab guide, couldn't recommend enough!
    We absolutely loved this tour! It was the first thing we did in Shanghai and was the perfect introduction to different regional foods in China. Our guide, Paul, was chatty, informative and personable. He navigated restaurants and food stalls with ease, all of which were authentic and unassuming places which we wouldn't have found or tried by ourselves (especially given that we aren't mandarin speakers). All the food was outstanding - we especially loved the Cantonese and Szechuan restaurants. We couldn't recommend this tour enough. Not only that, but Paul offered so many personal recommendations for the rest of our trip from his experience having lived in Shanghai for a number of years and it felt like having a friend in the city (Gabi loved the jianbing stall!!). He also happily answered our thousands of questions about life in Shanghai and China more broadly. We also found the recommendations in the welcome pack super helpful. After our experience on this tour, we are going to go on the UnTour Beijing breakfast tour later in our trip. Thanks so much, Paul!

    Day in Shanghai
    Our tour guide was Cathy who went over and above to make our day in Shanghai a day remember. She loves her city and managed to pass on her passion to us. Despite the rainy weather she made sure that we saw all the sights, organized transportatin, delicious lunch and provided a lot of historical and cultural commentary. Communications with Jenny were very easy. Highly recommended

    Great tour to learn about food & culture
    We had a great experience with Alana. Once we arrived in Qibao, we first visited the main shopping street, full of traditional houses, and then started our tour with delicious dumplings. We then wandered through a long street food area where Alana made some special recommendations and we were also able to pick out a few things we were interested in. Everything was so tasty and new, really great. Then we visited a local temple, had another great lunch and finished our tour at a nice tea house to relax after the walk. It's a great tour to learn about Chinese culture and food.

    Excellent Day tour with Jenny's Shanghai Tours and outstanding service by tour guide Grace - Highly Recommend
    I recently undertook this tour. I had an outstanding day and would highly recommend Jenny's Shanghai Tours. The organisation was superb and the tour guide Grace was highly experienced and very competent. She was so good and such a very nice person. The Driver was also very good. Grace's commentary was first class and her English skills were outstanding. The Zhujiajiao Water town history, private garden visit , walking tour of the eating experiences and various local traders, visit to a tea house, gondola ride, and sampling of the local food were particular highlights. I thoroughly enjoyed the Shanghai Tower visit even though wait time in the entry queue was around 1 hour. Not everyone may be interested in the Maglev museum visit, but because of my science education background, I found it very interesting and great to get an added understanding of how to go about catching the Maglev to Pudong airport for departure ( which I did). I found the whole day to be an interesting balance of the old and the new and a wonderful well paced experience. Thank you Jenny and sincerest appreciation to Grace for her services.

    Great tour
    Great 1/2 day tour. Seriously you have to ask for Peggy. She took us to the Yu Garden and Bazzar which was beautiful. Then followed by the Confucius Temple and tea ceremony. Topped of by the amazing dumplings. When finished driven back to our hotel in an air condition new vehicle. Thank you Peggy and Jenny
