Visiting the Shanghai Tower was the highlight of my trip to Shanghai! As the tallest building in China and the second tallest in the world, this architectural marvel truly lives up to its reputation. The observation deck on the 118th floor offers panoramic views of the city that are absolutely jaw-dropping. On a clear day, you can see for miles—skyscrapers, the Huangpu River, and even the distant horizon. It’s like being on top of the world!

The elevator ride itself is an experience. It’s one of the fastest in the world, and you’ll reach the top in just under a minute—smooth and thrilling! Once you step out, the floor-to-ceiling glass windows provide unobstructed views that are perfect for photos. I visited during sunset, and watching the city transition from day to night was magical. The lights of Shanghai slowly coming to life is a sight I’ll never forget.

The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, ensuring everyone had a great experience. The observation deck is spacious, clean, and well-organized, with plenty of seating areas to relax and take in the views. There’s also a small café where you can grab a drink or snack while enjoying the scenery.

Whether you’re a tourist or a local, the Shanghai Tower is a must-visit. It’s not just about the height; it’s about the feeling of awe and wonder you get when you see the world from such a incredible vantage point. Don’t miss this iconic experience—it’s worth every penny!

This review emphasizes the views, the elevator experience, and the overall atmosphere, which are key highlights for visitors. Let me know if you’d like to adjust it further!

Well worth a visit, but 45-60min is sufficient. If this is your only garden visit whilst in China, perhaps spend more time and possibly a guide.
For us, not the only garden and as such, no guided (and expensive) tour was perfectly fine. Shanghai old city just next door also worth while, 2 birds with one stone. Add 30min for this..

I was in town for a work trip and decided to take a day to do some sight seeing and it was the BEST decision!

Snow was my tour guide and she made the day so wonderful! We visited Shanghai Tower, Jade Buddha Temple, Yu Yuan Gardens, Zhuhjiaojiao, and also had a wonderful traditional lunch.

The duck was amazing, the history enlightening, and the views will never be forgotten. It rained the entire day, but Snow helped navigate the rain and still made it so much fun!

    Book Now!!! 10/10 would recommend!!

Ellen our guide was so delightful. She was easy going and relaxed but also organised and made us feel very safe riding our bikes through the busy streets of Shanghai. The 2 food stops were fantastic as were the 2 interesting historical stops in the French Concession. I was with my 16 year old son and we both lived it and would highly recommend it.

We had a great time to Suzhou via Sunny tour from Shanghai. The tour guide was on time and did an amazing job taking us to Suzhou via the bullet train which only takes 30mins. We have learnt a lot about the history of the Suzhou water village, Tiger Hill, fantastic lunch and a nice boat ride along the river. Highly recommended if you want to do a day trip!

It was extremely interesting to see the two different towns, enjoy the scenery and savour the local cuisine. The Watertown was nice and quaint, it supposedly looks like how China was in the past. The shops were cute, artsy and reasonably priced. The whole tour felt rushed though. Even though the advertisement indicates 10 hours, we were back at the hotel in 8. The advertised tour does not mention a minimum participant number, but as they only had our 2 person party, they informed us the night before the tour that we could cancel or pay an extra $100. As we had nothing planned and it was too late to get something else, we chose for the extra ‘cash’ payment. Our guide, Tom, spoke English exceptionally well, was very interesting and had tons of things to explain. We learned a lot! He made us feel rushed though. The lunch was very good (and way too much…) in a very authentic restaurant. We would maybe have preferred to eat in the water town, but no complaints at all.
So, beside from the feeling rushed, and the last minute $100 charge, we really enjoyed the tour and are very pleased we choose it!

When it comes to experiencing the vibrant energy and breathtaking beauty of Shanghai, there's no better way than embarking on a Huangpu River Night Cruise. This iconic journey offers a front-row seat to the city's dazzling skyline, where the past and present of Shanghai come alive under the glow of neon lights and starlit skies.

The Huangpu River, often referred to as the
"Mother River of Shanghai," divides the city into two distinct yet harmonious halves: Puxi, the historic western side with its colonial architecture and the famous Bund, and Pudong, the futuristic eastern side boasting soaring skyscrapers like the Shanghai Tower and the Oriental Pearl Tower. As the sun sets and the city lights begin to sparkle, the river becomes a mirror reflecting the soul of Shanghai.

The night cruise lasts about an hour, offering ample time to soak in the views and capture unforgettable memories. Modern, well-equipped boats provide both indoor and outdoor seating, ensuring comfort regardless of the weather. As you glide along the river, you'll be treated to panoramic views of:
    • The Bund: A stunning stretch of historic buildings illuminated in golden hues, showcasing Shanghai's colonial past.
    • Pudong's Skyline: A futuristic marvel of towering skyscrapers, including the iconic Oriental Pearl Tower and the Shanghai World Financial Center, lit up in a mesmerizing display of colors.
    • Bridges and Waterfronts: The river is dotted with beautifully lit bridges, such as the Nanpu Bridge and Yangpu Bridge, adding to the visual spectacle.
