Grand Kempinski is located near the Pearl Tower and in walking distance to the best malls on the Pudong side. Rooms are really nice with well designed and furnished bathroom. Fitness room is quite small but equipped with all relevant training equipment. On the contrary the pool is really great and could be reason to do laps. But don´t forget your swim goggles, the water is strongly chlorinated. Sauna is sufficient and the relaxing area is really nice arranged. Breakfast is served in two restaurants. One western style and the other one asian style. I habe only visited the western stye restaurant which has a nice view on the Bund river. The breakfast room itself is simple and a bit cold furbished.

SkinCity is in a lovely area of Shanghai with lots of coffee shops and park space. I had gel nails, a mini facial and a lymphatic drainage massage by Maria. The service was excellent, I am extremely happy. Maria did the treatments at the highest standard, and Leslie (manager, I believe) was very kind and friendly. She ordered tea for me and helped me order a Didi taxi as I did not have the app. I would recommend it as the communication of the staff is great and the quality of the service is exceptionally high. If I had more time or lived locally I would try the more advanced facials.

I really enjoyed being in the SPA and staying in the hotel.
Friendly, polite and helpful staff, they work hard to provide the best customer service.
In the SPA water area are a few bassins with different water temperatures and properties. A few jacuzzis, even an electric bath, which I had never seen before, it was a nice discovery:) 2 saunas, not hot, warm
You can have the body exfoliating and other treatments in there. Much more than necessary is provided.
Men and women are separate, you cannot wear the swimsuit in the bathing area.
Upstairs, you can have different kinds of massage and facials. All masseuses are professional, I did it every day during my 3 nights stay in the hotel.
There are heated relaxing stone and salt beds.
100 stars!! And thank you again for your hard work and patience:))
Restaurant, cafe, children playground, gaming area, all in 1 place:)
You will be given a kind of pijama which you can wear after using the SPA to be comfortable.

Jenna is an expert massage therapist among the best in the world I have seen. Petite but powerful, she will adjust her massage to what you ask for. I had the fortune to find her on my trip to Shanghai and I was so pleased that I saw her twice in the 9 days I visited. Jenna is punctual, professional and polite and exactly as she appears in the photos on her website. I highly recommend her to anyone that needs a perfect relaxing experience after a long trip or just a little soothing of sore muscles. I will definitely see her again when I return to Shanghai.

We stopped here for a one-hour foot massage to help us deal with a 17-hour layover following a night flight. It worked wonderfully. We both conked out within seconds and enjoyed a restful snooze. Lovely decor, thoughtful staff. The only quibble was that we had a terrible time finding it and no one we reached by phone had enough English to help us out. We obviously hadn't planned ahead well enough.

I regularly get massages and an hour with Danny on just my feet was pure heaven. Service is perfect and slow paced, which I found relaxing.

Top quality massage in a clean and comfortable spa. I tried both the 90min exfoliating scrub massage and hot stone massages - it was so good that I went back twice in 2 days! Massage therapist #27 was absolutely phenomenal and I fell asleep almost instantly during the session and woke up with my aches relieved. Love that they also open till late (slightly past midnight! Perfect for busy work travelers like me). I will be back here whenever I’m in Shanghai.

Everyone was very attentive and took their time to fulfill our every need, very considerate. We did the fitness & facial analysis, and they were very sweet and thoroughly explained our results to us.

    Good massage, professional masseuse.
In a classy hotel. But the environment was too noisy. And they didn't play any music to relax

Very relaxing atmosphere and unique experience. Time flies so fast during the one-hour session. Really good to release the stress.
Facilities are clean and staff quite friendly.
Would definitely recommend, worth giving a try!

Wonderful and relaxing massage! From the reception to the massage, Willow Stream Spa is VERY nice. The setting is calming and serene. The massage rooms clean and comfortable. My therapist, Apple, was THE best. Very knowledgeable about the body's structure and how the muscles relax. I chose the Bamboo massage where the therapist works with sticks of bamboo. Similar to hot stone therapy but absolutely effective!
The massage by Apple, is one of the best I've ever had! I will definitely be back!
I also have to mention Evelyn who helped me with my appointment! She is super friendly and welcoming! Love this place!

The best massage I ever had. The masseur knows her job and adapts to the needs of the client even without asking. She paid special attention to my problem zones and gradually removed the tension and blocks in the body.
I felt light and relaxed after, it was a good choice.

Just phenomenal from start to finish. I've gotten a lot of massages, and none have ever left me feeling this loose and pain-free. I was a little nervous because my lower back isn't so good and sometimes these Thai massages can be intense. It was intense, but Sal took care of me and really helped loosen that lower back up. About $65USD for 90 minutes. Not cheap, but way more affordable than in the US and IMO, way better.
