Rooms are really nice with well designed and furnished bathroom. Fitness room is quite small but equipped with all relevant training equipment. On the contrary the pool is really great and could be reason to do laps. But don´t forget your swim goggles, the water is strongly chlorinated. Sauna is sufficient and the relaxing area is really nice arranged. Breakfast is served in two restaurants. One western style and the other one asian style. I habe only visited the western stye restaurant which has a nice view on the Bund river. - The QueenShanghai, China97 contributionsThis is my first visit in this spa. I know this area very well. But never knew that they have such a beautiful spa for the whole family. It's Sunday in Shanghai. Spa is full with family and children. Little bit noisy may be with lots of children. But it's a huge spa, not so difficult to find quiet areas.
There are lot of services available in this spa for everybody. For adults it's a great place to relax and recharge. For children, the facility is full with all kind of activities. Toys, games, sports everything. A single visit is certainly not enough.
Gokurakuyu is open everyday from 10am in the morning to late night. They close the door at 2am. Price is very reasonable. Less than RMB 200 per visit (USD 25). Different price for kids. Little bit cheaper. Food price is average. But not cheap. There is only one Japanese Restaurant in this spa. More options will make the spa much better.

We made a phone booking with only an hours notice for 10pm and we were well looked after. The place is dimly lit for a soothing mood. There was hardly any noise or chatter in the background.
The lady's were dedicated in telling us if things cost more before adding on massage oils.
The massage was strong, hit the right places, yet also relaxing. A traditional massage was 140mb for 60 min and 210 for 90 min. You can get different types of massages and also add on packages.

The atmosphere is designed perfectly for relaxation, with soothing decor and tranquil music that immediately helps you unwind.
I was particularly lucky to have Technician #8. She was exceptional - taking her time to ensure every aspect of the massage was tailored to maximize comfort and relaxation. Her techniques left me feeling completely refreshed and rejuvenated.

I’ve been coming back to that place and I’m always super happy when walking out. Yesterday I was in Helen’s hands, we did lymphatic body drainage and face treatment called „regenerator” and oh boy! never felt better. Helen’s got some magic in her hands :) Thank You SkinCity, i’ll be back soon!

The service of Sienna at the concerige was really excellent. She helped me choose the suitable treatment for me and chatted with me. It was really considerate. Also, the lounge here has an absolutely stunning view. Facilities are clean and staff quite friendly.
Would definitely recommend, worth giving a try!

Its only annoying that people using their phones watching loud videos in the relaxing room! The message on the bath is very short & quick and not all of them are doing the great job . no follow up during the check out about their services. Hard to find their website and phone numbers online .
