A very touristy place, but we had fun walking through it, it was very lively, lots of interesting food. There was a guy there that cut out portraits from paper, pretty impressive and we did end of getting that little knickknack. We were here during the day, but saw the lights of it from the top of Shanghai tower so we think after sunset would be the best time to visit.

Went to Shanghai International Eyewear City Shanghai after reading all the reviews and went straight to Lucy's shop. I'll keep this review short and write a separate one for her shop. But in summary Lucy was great, she's friendly; she speaks good English; she gave us an awesome price for lenses and glasses for my wife; they were completed in a few days; and ultimately the proof is in the pudding, which was a couple of awesome glasses for a great price. Didn't visit any of the other shops so can't say if they are better or worse but no complaints and no regrets visiting Lucy's!

A little exaggerated saying that if you wanted to see Shanghai of the last 10 years, go to Pudong; 100 years, Yu Garden; 1000 years, Qibao because Qibao was founded by descendants from the Three Kingdoms period. Anyway I found it is a little more authentic than Yu Garden because it has a working river run through the town and real people still live in similarly constructed huts with brick tiles and mud walls right along the river.

This mall was just down from our hotel, New World, it's smaller that most but has all the good shops as well as eateries and a small mart.
Good if you want something quick.

I was VERY happy when I could walk straight into the mall from the metro station! Metro lines 1, 2 or 8 at People’s Square Station, take Exit 15 and it will lead you directly into the mall. High end mall. Brand names like Chanel and Hermes are here. They have wonderful restaurants at almost every floor, 8 floors altogether. Nice visit!

The Super Brand Mall is more than just a shopping mall, it is a vibrant hub for the local community and catalyst in redefining retail. The high-end luxury project is located on the bustling Lujiazui Street - known as the "East Wall Street". And the Huang Pu River is the symbolic front door to this unique retail community, gentling guiding guests to the mall's entrance.

Posh and highend boutique stores (including an IMAX theatre) are located here throughout it's 13 storeys and there are also eateries, cafes and a food haven in basement but only a few stores are opened, others are still under renovation and so it's quite quiet on the day of our visit.

A must visit. I have been a fan for 25 years, and I have many pieces in my home and office. These are inspirational pieces. Art Director Jeremy Guo said we make ceramics for the people, ceramics that you can use, not museum or ornamental pieces. Minimalism is the theme of SPIN pieces.

Large store, but merchandise is disappointing if you just went to Shanghai Disneyland. There is minimal overlap in merchandise. The store in downtown Shanghai is more like the regular Disney stores in the U.S. I would suggest going to the Shanghai Disneyland resort World of Disney store. You can still go there without park admission as it’s in their version of Downtown Disney and the merchandise there was all stuff they sell inside the park as well.

I visited this place in November 2011. Two Thousand and Eleven (in case you think that was a typo) I am still using the silk doona I bought there after the amazing demonstration. I live in a hot humid climate and the shop assistant recommended their lightest single layer doona. It's my summer bed covering. I just put it on the bed today for summer. It's still good. Hasn't disintegrated or fallen apart, still comfortable and light to sleep under and it breathes and doesn't make me sweat. If anything ever happened to it I would definitely buy another one.

This place is situated along Nanjing Road East which is a pedestrian filled with people.

The foodhall is situated in a multi storey building with each floor dedicated to certain products. There are also numerous restaurants in the building which serve delicious and reasonable price dishes.

You can shop and take a break for a meal at one of the restaurants and continue to shop when your stomach has its fill.

Wujiang Road Food Street is probably the most popular street in Shanghai with a long history where the famous pan-fried bun brand- Yang's Fry Dumpling was originated. Besides the pan-fried bun, other gourmets food like tapioca pudding, barbecue, vermicelli made from bean starch, etc are also popular items.

The leisure and entertainment street at Wujiang Road is the only stereo leisure street in Shanghai that segregates pedestrians and vehicles and has a two-layer walking street and is easy to walk since it is a straight walkway without any winding or side roads. The street, has gone through renovations, has now turned into a fashionable food street. Along the street are uniquely-shaped mobile stores and movable flowerbed and trees. The street is an integration of metro traffic, shopping and leisure, tourism and sightseeing, and square culture. It is a unique leisure street that attracts the attention of the people of Shanghai.

It was crowded on the day of our visit there and many people who queuing for street foods from the food vendors, others sat at the cafes and restaurants on both sides of the street. It is full of vibes and vibrancy there, comparable to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street!
