Back open for business
Just opened back up one month ago. Many stores are still closed, but still worth a visit if you are in Shanghai. Prices are higher then three years ago.

Great service
I am new to ordering a custom suit as this is my first trip to China. I went to the Shanghai Fabric Market to see about getting a custom suit as I am a heavy set guy with unusually long arms for my height. I walked the first two floors and just picked Cheryl Bao Booth #261 as I liked their suits they had on mannequins and they did not jump on me when I walked by. I had planned on 1 two piece suit and one shirt. Well when it is all said and done i am leaving with 2 suits, 5 shirts and 5 ties. I went in one day before noon and they had the suits done by 4 pm the next day and they fit and look excellent. They did mix up one shirt but they immediately made it right and sold my the wrong shirt for a reduced cost. I am very happy with the pricing I might not have paid the absolute lowest price but I got great service and suits/ties for a great price. Also they can make addition
suits and ship to the US.

Many Pet stores in a shopping center
I walked down from Jinqiao International Commercial Plaza. I t was a 25 minute walk. In a large building with an English "Shanghai Restaurant" over head. There are multiple stores that sell fish for aquariums. Salt water and fresh water the normal varieties as well as some i did not recognize. I saw one store that sells birds, he had many different types. There were a few turtles and hamsters but I did not see much else. There were a lot of antique stores in fact I think the 2nd floor is a large jade and antiquities center. Across the parking lot I could see small stores that sold plants, bonsai trees and flowers. I feel I missed something if this is ranked #300 to see in Shanghai.

Interesting, good prices
Worth a wander. Some exotic flowers and fake antiques, good choice of plants for the garden as well. Small selection of quality bonsai. A few other specialist stalls such as cooking equipment.

Its better than many modern country walking street but the security is horrible.
At night the coffee shops and little hang out are too risky. They trap and rob everything and they also hit people. Must not go out of hotels alone. Too risky.
