We bought a tour that were supposed to include a trip with the speed boat to the Blue Lagoon, a guided kayak ride around the island, a light lunch and time for swimming or snorkeling. Did it?
Let's start with what was actually good. Kayaking in calm sea to a quiet bay in the Adriatic is good for the soul. BUT - you do not have to buy this trip to experience it. We are a family of four who have been on similar trips elsewhere in Croatia earlier. The tours held a completely different standard. Why?
Our speed boat proved to be a five-horsepower boat. This had uncomfortable seating for three - the fourth had to sit on the deck. As far as you do not think it's good to sit uncomfortably with motor noise for two hours during the trip, then we will not recommend this.
What about the guide? Not unfriendly, but he spoke English to a small extent. Guided kayaking meant that he drove the boat 100-200 meters in front of our kayaks and of course we did not hear a word about the area.
Safety? Someone may be interested in safety. We were picked up in a car that probably did not pass standard European safety requirements. Only two seat belts in the back seat and a loose (!) seat on the passenger side. On board the boat there were no life vests for us. The kids / youths were offered life jackets for the kayak (you know the orange, thick ones), but these are very unpleasant to paddle with.
The nature was nice, but the implementation in relation to what you expect from such tours deserves no stars at all.
