Suricata Safari is truly amazing with their customer service and hospitality. There are a LOT of options to go with when considering which company to take your safari with, and you spend a lot of time and money to get there, so you want to make sure you get it right. When I was initially researching a tour company, I was torn between companies that offered the safari at about $100-$200 cheaper vs going with a company like Suricata that was a bit more but had a great reputation with reviews. I am here to say that I definitely made the right decision with Suricata! They kept their word on everything, there was only 6 of us on the tour, no cramming of others, the facilities were great. The food was incredible, you would think that they had served all of the food options already, and then the chef would bring even more! We went during wet season, so we encountered natural issues with our car getting stuck a few times, and that definitely ate up time, so just make sure if you are going in rainy season to ask the company to make sure to have mud tracks on hand!
Hilary is the manager and he was absolutely great to work with, so responsive, so kind and informative and patient! Mr. T is also a staff member that you interact with on-site and man, he is one of the BEST people I have ever met in the tourism and hospitality industry. I had an issue with the Kenyan border, and they went above and beyond to help me with an issue POST trip that had nothing to do with the safari. You honestly can't get better customer service than that.
Suricata has done it right with great organization, great food and great people. It's hard to go through choosing a ton of companies, but this company really shines.
