A very nice tour - we saw a magical sunrise at the Ganges and saw the local prayers and ceremonies as well as some wrestling! Vinay was very accommodating for my family who were up at 5am off the back of a late flight

Despite Varanasi being an overwhelming city - Vinay made it easy and helped us understand the local culture

My wife and I were always keen in sampling the famed street foods of Benaras and to soak into the ambience and history of the city. This 2 hours of guided "Varanasi Street Food Crawl" perfectly fitted in our plan (we took it on March 16, 2024 from noon). Our friendly and energetic guide Manish, a local tourism major from BHU, took us around the narrow by-lanes of the old city, while stopping over at a number of famous and old street food shops, serving lip-smacking "hinger kachori, jilabis, samosas, sweets and delicious lassis with excusive aroma / presentation (at Blue Lassi shop)". Overall, a fantastic experience for food lovers.

We went on for a Kasi trip and made a good selection of travel agency. Yattri travels were best in all terms, starting with rooms, vehicle arrangements and complete travel plan.
About rooms, they booked wonderful rooms of best standard and quality. Complimentary breakfast was best in class.
About vehicle arrangements, they provided us a 7 seater AC Ertiga car. The driver and car was available throughout the journey from airport pickup to airport drop. Driver was very cooperative. He has the better idea of routes and good experience in driving. Driver drove well without any sudden brake and didn't feel a single jerk in entire 5 days.
About travel plan, they gave a good itenary and it fitted well within our budget too. They were ready to customize the itenary as per convenience. Khasif and Krishna from their team took a regular follow up on each day, gave their recommendations, guided us for next day plan, made us clear considering the local traffic, temple timings and alternate options. They assisted us for flight booking as well.
We are from chennai, myself along with brother and parents travelled to north India for first time, could able to cover major cities of UP like Lucknow, Ayodhya, Allahabad and Varanasi. Overall we enjoyed well, had a good Darshan at all the temples. Best experience ever!! Thank you Yattri travels.

A fabulous way to spend a morning in Varanasi. The boat ride was especially fun. The guide had a great knowledge of the history of Varanasi and customised my tour to include places I hadn't seen before. Would recommend.

Varanasi is also known as Benares or Kasi.. There are 15 ancient cities in India. There is also ancient civilization and sites like Indus Valley civilization. The building structure is different and the roads are narrow They also call her as the spiritual capital of India.

Vidya was a fantastic and amiable guide. He opened up the hidden secrets of this amazing city and completely altered my experience of it. I could not have found my way through the labyrinthine lanes and alleys to discover the exquisite treasures the city has to offer. Vidya’s enthusiasm and love for his home town is infectious. I can think of no better guide.

Thanks to this tour I have learnt a lot about buddhism, Indian culture and spirituality. The driver was looking after me and never left me alone as it was my first time visiting India. The selection of hotels was really good and specially the guide from Varanasi did a very good job. I would definitely recommend Varanasi Excursions to anyone visiting India for the first time!

    An excellent day.
Starting early, I was greeted by Vinod my guide for the day.
I was first taken on a boat trip on the Ganga to see the sunrise and many of the Ghats.
After a break for breakfast, we visited Sarnath, where I had the history of Buddha explained and taken to the museum and the Stupa which marks where Buddha gave his first Sermon.
After a break for lunch I was taken to the Manikarnika Ghat, where the cremation process from death was explained. Finally the Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat for a great finally to the day.
Vinod is very knowledgeable and informed me about all we saw and answered all of my questions.

Manish is an excellent tour guide. We saw many off the beaten path sites which was exactly what we asked for. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. We would have rated him 5 stars except that he consistently would race ahead of us despite asking him to keep an eye on where we were.
