What travellers are saying
- Heather MOil City, PA37 contributionsWe enjoyed the boardwalk. We went in September. Weather was descent. There are a lot of homeless people that ask for money/food. We fed the squirrels - they get right on your lap and take peanuts from you. Wasn't too crowded.Written 27 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- starr9315Danbury, CT7 contributionsVery fair set up to accommodate smokers. Plenty of gambling options.
You'll need lots of luck getting drinks when at the slots. 35 minutes till I saw a waitress!
Nice atmosphere & surprisingly not overly loud.Written 3 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Stay away from the Showboat… trashy place and trashy people in my opinion. Great shopping and eating/drinking on boardwalkWritten 21 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Peter U19 contributionsTry to picture how time and history has grown around and past this historic marker.
Iam sure that in it's day, it had a vital role. Now a very urban Atlantic City has grown around this old lady with a history. The area has a Coast Guard station, a large marina and several commercial fishing fleets.Written 24 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. However, the machines are set to "do not hit," so soak up the ambience and keep it moving. If you want a beverage, bring a tent because you will need it. There are properties very close buy where you have a far better chance of returning home with some change.Written 19 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TrainsFanNew York City, NY101 contributionsThe outlet mall has all the shops you would expect at an outlet. The shops are spread out over a 4 block radius so be prepared to do some walking. Parking is nearby for a fee but you can stay for up to 8 hours in some of them.
There are not too many restrooms at the mall which was a concern. One option is to go to the McDonald's and use theirs. The mall management should reconsider opening more restrooms like other outlet malls. One plus also is if you park at some stores and purchase something your parking will be free. One store is missing from the mall and that is the Lego store which would be a great store to have, There is no food court but McDonald's, Starbucks and Applebees.Written 2 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Except for 1 burger place that closed at 9pm. There was also a 24 hr bistro trype store that was open. Because they were the only place open late they charged double comps. So that ham sandwich that cost $15 cash would be $30 in comps.
Top the night off with the automated parking gates malfunctioning creating a half-hour jam up to leave the parking garage. I'm done with Harrah's.Written 12 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The Korean Conflict, 1950-1953, the nation's only undeclared war, claimed more than 36,000 American lives. Approximately 7,600 service personnel remain unaccounted for.
It was created to ensure that future generations remember and honor the pride and dedication of those who served, the legacy they continued, and the freedom they preserved.
Memorial featuring bronze figures of heroic proportions, representing the servicemen and women who fought in Korea. The most memorable is the 12-foot high "Mourning Soldier" who is clutching several dog tags and remembering his lost comrades.
Also represented are a soldier and nurse helping a wounded soldier and two battlefield reliefs behind sheets of water cascading into reflecting pools. Beneath an eternal flame is a wall bearing the names of all New Jersey service members killed or missing in action, as well as a wall honoring the five New Jersey servicemen who were awarded the Medal of Honor for heroism in Korea.Written 18 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I just wish people would not be so lazy and use the garbage cans for their garbage!! The food along the board walk is over-priced and not really the greatest - but it's an experience.Written 24 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - James BNew Hope, PA12 contributionsWe are traveling by boat and stayed at Farley's Marina at Golden Nugget Casino. The marina was great but the price of dockage is high for transient boats. We are here for a wedding and events weeks before n after but the marina didn't care n charged top rate
You can get a seasonal slip cheeper then staying 6 weeks on E dock.
Take heed and know before you go.Written 10 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Always packed and entertaining but sometimes too crowded if there is an event at the concert hall. Drinks at the concert hall are way too overpriced and weak. Mostly juice.Written 5 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- JA JLittle Falls, NJ115 contributionsI went to check it out was thinking of the Japanese restaurant there. But ended up at Guy's BBQ place instead. 70%of the businesses were closed wasted space if You ask Me.Written 7 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
