This tour is absolutely amazing. We were lucky enough to have Sath and Seiha to ourselves and made the experience much more personal.
We were picked up in a lovely air contained car which helps with the heat.

Sath was very knowledgeable and conducted the tour very well. Me and my wife were very impressed with the attention to detail.

Nothing but thank you to both Sath and Seiha for their efforts and for a brilliant tour.

It is quite a ride going here, road is bumby, then you'll take a boat to go to the village.
The place and the culture are quite unique, though.

I love the small boat ride later in the tour, where we toured around a forest with monkeys. Then the sunset (the afternoon half day tour is much better).

Me and my friends went for half day tour : Tonle Sap boat and canoe tour .
It was fascinating , to visit floating villages .
My guide Nak was great with explaining villagers every day life, fishing and difficulties associated with water levels .
The tour was a fascinating experience.
We were able to see hundreds of stilt houses raised high above ground, walked through the village and canoe in the forest.

    This was a pricey tour.

Most of the time was spent travelling in the bus to each stop or on the lake where you weren't told anything by the guide.

We stopped at a local village market to look at fresh meat, fruit and vegetables being sold. Then looked at how sticky rice is made in short bamboo pieces over coals. We stopped at a local school to hand out a story book and lead pencil to each student. We had read this in preparation of our tour, so had gone to a local supermarket and purchased (very cheaply) boxes of coloring-in pencils and blank notepads, and handed these to the teacher for use.

Then we went on a boat on the lake. No life jackets or safety preca of any kind. It was good to see how the houses were on stilts and a small number of floating houses.

Lunch was at a lovely village restaurant, which had beautiful tropical gardens and was clean and traditionally decorated. We picked from a menu and the food was good, but very few Cambodian local dishes. The meal is included in the cost of the tour, except if you want extras.

We arrived back in town at about 3pm.

Given the choice I would not choose this tour again.

We booked the 3 day Phnom Penh & Siem Reap tour through Viator, and Global Travel & Tours Asia arranged the trip for us. This was a great way to see some of the highlights in Cambodia in just a few days. We really enjoyed Phnom Penh, and our guide Owen (I'm not sure how to spell his name) was absolutely lovely. He spoke English well, was passionate about his work and we learned quite a bit about the country through just talking with him. Seeing the temples in Siem Reap was remarkable, and our guide Rith was so great. He spoke English well and brought so many great stories and personality to the entire experience. Both hotels that were booked for us were great. We would HIGHLY recommend this experience, and we would love to return to Cambodia and use this company again.

Absolutely amazing travel experience by water way from Siem Reap to Battambang, it takes a bit long time bout 7 hours but it s wonderful views and go through many village and mangrove forest, the boat is nice and have toilet in boat, it was stopped in some village and have local family restaurant, but you should pack some food because it a bit long journey.
All were amazing experience and recommend for whom what to see life on the water.

We thoroughly enjoyed this trip along the river looking at the stilt houses. Our guide Choub spent a lot of time explaining how important the river is and we learned a lot about this way of life. Thank you Choub & driver Sourn.

We were quite disappointed in this tour. We somehow expected to be on a big dinner boat as pictured in the brochure. Nope..a river taxi was the mode of transportation. The floating village was actually very interesting, however, but the stop at yet another tourist trap, was unnecessary. especially as the small boats came up to ours begging for money. The Queen Tara was just an old boat. Food was so-so. The all-you-can- drink drinks didn't make up for anything.

This was a really fun way to spend a morning. It really wasn’t what I expected, the lotus farm was beautiful and not what I had pictured. Then seeing the floating villages was amazing - they literally live on the lake and there is a floating school and church etc in addition to houses. The ride up river to the lake was very rural, and you get a real insight in to the day to day lives of these folks. Then lunch on the boat was so peaceful. Also got to mingle with some other tourists and share stories. Not to mention unlimited beer on the lunch boat!

Mr Sara our tour guide was exceptional - I have no hesitation in giving him the highest recommendation - his knowledge, kindness and patience was brilliant. Mr Deta our driver handed out cold towels and water often - after walking Angkor wat it was a welcome relief. These two make a fabulous team.
