Indonesian art museum, signs are clear and in English, audio guide available on Spotify. The exhibition was critical on politics in Indonesië. This is for people from western countries not very strange ut locally it is very stange.
One of the museums in fatahillah square. Entry fee 5,000 IDR (less than half dollar). Recommended to stay for 1-2 hours. Art pieces of Indonesians great artists are displayed here along with the history. Indonesian pottery and ceramics history is also very well presented in this museum.
Not just the museum, but the guide was very helpful in explaining the paintings and the history of Basoeki Abdullah. At the end of the visit, I also got two hard-cover books about Basoeki Abdullah! They're going to expand this museum, so I bet it's going to get much better soon :)
