What travellers are saying
- mtoisutaSydney, Australia1 contributionMy partner and I had a wonderful time in a cooking class here. The very experienced and knowledgeable Chef Antoine spoke fluent English, Indonesian and French, and it was a fun atmosphere in our all ages group.
The modern and professional kitchen is excellent and has multiple cooking stations. All ingredients and equipment had been prepared for us so it was an easy and time efficient experience.
The food was delicious and as we couldn’t finish it, the staff packed it for us and we had the left overs the next day.
Highly recommended!Written 16 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The space and cooking studio is great, well equipped and feels brand new. My suggestion is because the tutorial comes first for all recipes before we practice, please take necessary notes on the tips and steps as we tend to forget when we actually do the cooking process. But the team are all ready for questions and very helpful.
I joined because my favorite chef is scheduled and his cooking style to me is simple, practical and fun. So I guess different chef might offer different experience as well.Written 7 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Great place, with a little garden outside and a coffee to enjoy French croissants !
The hall is a bit dark but there is an interresting library on the 1st floor. Ifi regularly screens French films for Ciné-Macet. Except that the screening room is VERY cold, the films picked and screening quality is really good ! Lots of concerts also each month, with some indonesian musicians.Written 26 February 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Eneri N3 contributionsBeen there last 2013 with my mother in law, sister in law and my husband from Australia. First, Carla picked us up in apartment which is good but she drove like a racer that's why my 72 years old mother in law was complaining and i said to Carla drive slowly but she ignore me and keep speeding her car and went to dirty market which we dont inform we are all surprised -to buy all the ingredients that we need- then drive again going to her house and the car was out of fuel we stuck in the traffic in hot weather with our chicken, pork and vegetables at the back of her car for 1hour Carla was looking for a gasoline station. She came back with fuel so more driving to her house. We arrived we all thought we are the one will cook for our own but it wasn't we just look them cooking with her maid or cousins and it was disgusting with flies everywhere dusty place. Bad experience and i feel embarrassed for my guests coz im the one who suggested that idea! It sucks >.<Written 6 May 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
