- Au J2 contributionsI stayed in Renaissance and their staff recommend us to try the experience of star ferry. Just a few minutes walk from hotel, the design of star ferry pier is nice and the fare was really cheap. The view from the star ferry was really excellent and I took many photo. Highly recommended to friend and family who will travel in HK.Written 29 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LavyAmsterdam, The Netherlands3 contributionsI finally managed to visit it. I was not sure i would enjoy it there. it is too touristic but i was wrong. It is gorgeous. Go with your friends or your loved ones. I took great pictures there. The view is very scenicWritten 26 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Windy DevitaJakarta, Indonesia260 contributionsIt is indeed the smallest Disneyland in the world, but it does not disappoint! You still get the magical experience being in the happiest place on earth, with familiar shapes of your favorite characters in your meals, and the shops are to-die-for! I enjoyed the shops more than the rides as I wouldn’t want to spend more than 40 mins for a queue. Aside from that, great place!Written 21 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- C H22 contributionsThe Ding Ding is an icon in HK and a must ride for the visitors. The top deck was great for viewing. The experience was unique and historic.Written 16 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- burghughesGreendale, WI967 contributionsFor Americans this place is not comparable to SeaWorld but more like the good Aquariums you might find in Gatlinburg and Newport/Cincinnati. I thought the admission price of about $16 was a little high for the Philippines but still a bargain compared to US prices. My last visit was 2016 and it has definitely improved since then
It’s easy to spend a couple of hours here. There are numerous great displays as you go through the different sections. Kids I saw were having a wonderful time and adults young and old seemed to enjoy as well.
Most everything you want to see is on the first floor. The second makes you walk through long corridors to get to a small display of penguins followed by a “Christmas Village” that is nothing other than a place for photo ops. You can save some time and just skip floor 2.Written 23 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Lots of plants - museums and things to see.
Definitely a bucket list target for tourists and locals alike.Written 24 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Bring sunblock and water to stay hydrated.Written 22 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Untung TManila, Philippines153 contributionsEvery time we visit hong Kong, we make it a habit to visit lantau Island and the big Buddha. The cable car experience is always nice, not only for kids but for grownups as well. Near the cable car station at the mtr is a mall with factory outlet shops, great for shopping and dining. Queues for cable car tickets are long, as you'll find many tourists visiting. I would suggest buying tickets online, which give you the privilege of skipping the line. We, for example, got out crystal canin tickets via klook. Best time to visit is in the morning or before lunch.Written 31 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Penrapee RBangkok, Thailand211 contributionsThe nunnery is within a walking distance from Diamond Hill MTR, making it convenient to visit when you want to getaway from the buzz of the city. The wooden building is beautiful, perfectly preserved and it's peaceful inside with serene garden in the middle. It's a perfect place to spend some time relaxing and being with yourself while visiting such a busy city like Hong Kong.Written 3 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jeffry bEssendon, Australia12,857 contributionsHong Kong has one of the world's best landformed natural harbors. Victoria Harbour is a spectacular sight, especially at night. In daylight, you can walk along the water or take the Star Ferry. For a few cents, you can take the Star Ferry between Hong Kong Island and Kowloon -- it's one of the world's great bargains. When the British colonized Hong Kong in 1841, this magnificent harbor was one of the main attractions. The harbor remained the center of business and commerce in Hong Kong for many years.Written 29 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ronald CManila, Philippines144 contributionsIt was a nice experience and I am happy it was just another station from Disneyland. Worth the visit, the cable car was good. The area was very rural, not typical HK. Go here when the queue is not long and sun is not too hot.Written 16 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jeffry bEssendon, Australia12,857 contributionsHappy Valley Racecourse is one of only two racetracks in the Special Administrative Region of Hong Kong. Thoroughbred racing is very popular in Hong Kong, and regular meetings are held at Happy Valley. On-course betting is well-regulated. The track is owned by the Hong Kong Jockey Club, which is the SAR's biggest taxpayer and charitable institution. Hong Kong people love to punt, and Happy Valley also draws many international visitorsWritten 29 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
