Get to the top of HK and see the whole skyline and the HK harbor.
    A spectacular view of HK
The trams are air conditioned and going up the steep tram line is a fun time itself.
The mid morning to lunch is always busy try to avoid. Weekends are busy as well.
The cost is HK$148 to HK$168 that includes a round trip on the tram plus entry to the viewing platform which they call the Sky Terrace 428.
There is an adjacent shopping centre with shops and food outlets for lunch or a meal. There is fast food stores as well such at Burger King and McDonalds if you prefer fast food.
Take your time and enjoy the view - late afternoons is fun as well. Go up and have a meal and then see the HK skyline at night.
The best viewing days are when there is no cloud or fog around.

An effective way to get from HK island to TST or just cruise the harbor and enjoy the wonderful HK city beauty as you relax on the ferry. They are always on time and it is a quick and reliable and cheap form of transport.
    HK$10 Wanchai to TST.

With 268 steps, the climb can be exhausting, but the view from the top is worth it, though taking the cable car is convenient, beware of the multitude of food stalls, and don't forget sunscreen for the hot weather.

1 day was not enough to explore Disneyland.
Be there before they open the rides and we were there around 10:10am.
They have great performances/ show that you won't like to miss. I do recomend you to download the disney app, waiting time from each rides will be shown in the app. The newly opened "Frozen" rides and show is a must try! take note that everything has timings not all rides operates till evening.
Foods inside is a bit expensive, but in our situation that day, we don't have time to eat because we're trying to ride everything and watch all performances/ show that they have but unfortunately in the end of the day, i guess we only missed 2 rides.
Fireworks in the evening is worth waiting for! It will start at 8:30PM so you have to look for a good spot!

Due to land scarcity in the city, the only option is to build up. Thus the high rise buildings for residential and commercial uses came about. During the day, it is nice to walk along the promenade and watch the skyline; much better after sun set when it gets cooler and buildings got lighted.

The trams are so fun to ride on.
They have an extensive network on the HK island and you can gat around economically and see some great sights.
Would recommend you buy at Octopus Card (travel card) it costs HK$200 and includes HK$150 credit.
This can be used on ferries/trams/buses and trains. Plus can be used at most stores in HK to purchase food and other items.

Nian Lian Garden is a true oasis in the midst of the chaos of Hong Kong. Located in Diamond Hill, the garden, easily accessible by metro, is an unmissable gem. This garden is super peaceful, not yet visited by thousands of tourists. Super clean and well arranged, it looks like a Japanese garden. When you visit HK, find some free time and take the opportunity to visit this tranquil wonder

There are many things to see and do here. I started my walk from the Star Ferry Port until I reached the Statue of Bruce Lee.

Along the way, I saw the high rise buildings across the water. Other attractions noted during my walk are the old Clock Tower, female statue related to movies, handmarks of famous Hongkong people on the railings, another statue, Starbucks plus toilet facilities, ferry boats, small gardens, etc. There are also museums to visit here.

After visiting Bruce Lee Statue, I crossed the overpass and went to the other side. There are malls, restaurants, and shops here. Metro Stations are located near here.

A lengthy cable car ride with sensational views. Unfortunately for us, we climbed into cloud halfway up, but we still had some fantastic views on the lower part of the run. It's a great way start your trip to see the Big Buddha

We visited here with our young daughter.

Overall it was a very good experience and worth visiting. Yes, it’s tired and has not changed in the last decade but it still delivered.

Mix of animals and roses gave a great balance and variety. Queues were very long so we invested in a Fast Pass which was well worth the money.

More entertainment and shade is needed for the long queues.

F&B expensive and limited on variety. Nearly nothing for vegetarians.

Worth the visit and definitely a big improvement on Disneyland.

Located on a hill and next to the beautiful gardens of Nan Lian, this convent enjoys unique peace and tranquility. It is a convent for nuns. You can only visit part of it, but it's worth it. The surroundings are fabulous with beautiful temples and wonderful views of the city below.

No visit to Hong Kong is complete without visiting Lantau. Easy access from HK by metro. It has several attractions such as Big Budha, Po Lin Monastery, the fishing village of Tai O, not to mention Honk Kong Disneyland. Except for Disney, you can visit everything in one morning

This is a funicular that connects Central Hong Kong to Victoria Peak. It is very popular every day and time. Even if you buy the ticket online you will have to wait in line to go up. Just avoid the line to buy the ticket You can buy just the tram ticket (9 euros) or the tram plus access to the sky terrace 360 (15 euros). When you go up you start to see the view of the city.
It is worth it? It depends on the person's desire and physical ability to climb on foot.

spent an afternoon on TST via metro. first stop was K11 mall MTR J2 exit. it's a very artsy mall, can take nice pics. medium to high end shops. has an outdoor terrace area with views of the harbor. right outside the mall is avenue of the stars. lots of people there as well even at peak afternoon hours. other places to visit in TST is Harbour City/Ocean Terminal (there's a Cheesecake Factory in there), a really huge mall compared to K11 which is on the small side. There's also Elements Mall which i did not visit.
