Maybe I expected more because someone had biged it up.
The event is really crowded and lots of people push to get close to take 8001 photos of the same flower. I guess i'm fortunate enough to come from a country with a variety of flowers and colours so when something like this hits the city everyone wants to see it.
If flowers are your passion you'll love the place but if you're someone who likes a nice garden you won't miss out if you don't go.

My understanding is that this is an annual flower show (always around Mar timeframe). This is the second time that I visited, and its still great. Lots to see.

Not that the admission was much to start with, but if you're 60 or older, you get in for free.

And if you get tired of walking and looking, there's an area available for snacks and drinks.

Expensive for what it is. While nice and different from other exhibits around, the exhibit is small (Flower, jungle, wave, beach) and you can walk through pretty quickly.

I went thinking it would be somewhat similar to the TeamLab experience but it's not even close (but in HK there is no TeamLab...). It didn't feel that immersive to me - there were only 4 small rooms with light and sound displays. Unlike TeamLab the exhibits aren't interactive and repeat quite often.

For those seeking IG photos: the displays were projection based so it was hard to capture photos without seeing the lights projected on you.

I went on a rainy weekday so there weren't that many people and it was slightly cheaper.

Overall, it's something different to do in HK but I recommend going on the weekday to avoid the crowds and get cheaper admission. Also just make sure you aren't expecting too much here.
