The cathedral is the seat of the Anglican Church of Hong Kong.
It is an impressive building located right in the center of Hong Kong. Surrounded by a pleasant garden. The interior is a little cold, with nothing interesting

Really beautiful cathedral in the midst of a bustling city! We attended mass there and people are very inviting (despite it being a Cantonese mass)

Lovely church near the Museum of History. Constructed in Gothic style architecture, it dates to 1904 and is the oldest Catholic church in Kowloon. The interior does not display the sombre finish of the Gothic era, its painted in bright colours the altar and surrounds the major feature. A couple of stained-glass windows feature in the chancel. The main external feature is the attractive grotto with statue of the Virgin Mary. Worth a visit to sit a while and reflect in peaceful surrounds.

St. Margaret's Church is a beautiful temple in old Hong Kong. It differs in architecture not quite characteristic of religious buildings - the facade is decorated with a Doric portico. The large church building was built in 1925. Lined with granite and decorated with a portico, it does not look quite standard for the urban environment of Hong Kong. To the left and right of the entrance to the temple are the statues of Saints Paul and Peter.

Beautiful building in the Victorian-Gothic style. St. Andrew's Church in Kowloon has been through a lot since it was conceived in 1904: a bomb blast during the war, typhoons and a landslide.

There’s a wedding on the day we visited, so we are unable to go inside. Seldom see this type of architecture in Hong Kong.

Stopped by this church for some prayer and reflection. Modern church with nice murals. Receptionist on the ground floor was very helpful inspite of the language barrier

Compared to the Catholic churches in Europe, this church’s interior is quite sparse. The church was consecrated in 1961 and was named after the Blessed Mother. It is located on the upper level of the building with church offices and gathering places on the lower level. Nevertheless, it is beautiful in its simplicity.

(Full disclosure, I work for this church. That said, here's an honest review.)

The Vine Church is a large, vibrant, international, English speaking church in the heart of Hong Kong. It is non-denominational, Evangelical, and meets in a converted movie cinema. The Vine has a great facility that caters to all ages, and walks of life.

The worship at the Vine is contemporary, along the lines of Hillsong, Bethel, Passion, etc. Senior Ps Andrew Gardener is a dynamic speaker. They have good kids facilities, and their ground floor is a franchised cafe.

You can get a feel for our speaking and services by checking out our vimeo page: https://vimeo.com/thevinechurch

If you're in town for a weekend and would like to visit a church, we invite one and all to come on down. As of this writing, service times are 9:15, 11:30, and 4pm. Check out our website for more details: http://www.thevine.org.hk

Feel free to get in touch with me if you want more info!

Along Hollywood Road is a small church called St. Matthew's, just across the street from the Hollywood Road Park. Unfortunately, Hong Kong doesn't have many Christian-based church attractions, like those commonly found in European cities and St. Matthew's is no exception to this rule. This is a functional church serving the local community and not really a point of interest for visitation.

Services are in Cantonese as is the information available for the Sunday church services on the sign outside the church and the online website for this church. Of note, St. Matthew's also hosts nursery and kindergarten services during the week.

In this area of Hong Kong there are many interesting attractions that you can see. A decent city park just across the street from St. Matthew's, called the Hollywood Road Park is worth a few moments of your time. Also, Man Mo Temple is just up Hollywood Road as well as the antique-laden "Cat Steet", just five minutes walk. In the opposite direction you can begin to locate some of Hong Kong's older, traditional street markets. These are likely to be more interesting attractions to find in the Sheung Wan area.

This is a good place to visit with friends. It is also a good idea to arrive in a contemplative frame of mind. That way, one will get far more out of one's visit. The concentric circles are fascinating and seem to cast a spell over one.

St. Paul's Church is located on Glenealy just south of the Fringe Club and the LKF district.

This is an early 20th-century church with several architectural influences ranging from the neo-gothic spire and tower at the front to the Dutch style gable at the back. The building is cream coloured with light blue trim and roof.

The facade of the church is a bit difficult to see as a later period building was constructed just few meters in front of it. However, you can make a side view of the church front from across Glenealy Road.

St. Paul's is an active Anglican Church with regular services. Check their website for details. It also functions as a local kindergarten as well.
