Well organized and an amazing host on the Macau side called Eddie.
Qudos also to the charming lady who initially met us at the Ferry Terminal and personally assisted us to find immigration and the right Ferry to Macau.
The tour covers everything they advertise, and the buffet lunch was above expectations (and also catered adequately for this vegetarian and my vegan friend).
Coach driver drove us and then collected us from the various points of interest.
I particularly liked going up the Macao Tower and looking over into China proper and the trip into the Casino was eye-opening. Enjoyed the whole day and the trip back over the awe-inspiring sea Bridge to Hong Kong exceptional !
Eddie was an amusing and informative host full of many humorous anecdotes that kept us laughing. Thank you !

Cicso was a great guide, knowledgeable, organized. Both he and Tony made sure that we understood the logistics for the day: tickets, immigration, where to go and where to meet. We learned a lot and packed a lot into the day. Unlike other guides, Cisco was able to tell us where to take the best pictures at certain sites. Whether these positions were really the best, no idea. We took his advice based on his apparent experience.

My wife loves an open top bus tour. With a passion. So as first-timers in Hong Kong it was a no-brainer to get our bearings with the three tours offered by Big Bus, one Kowloon-side, and two on Hong Kong Island.

It all started very well. We met Lorna at the Kowloon starting point just outside our hotel. She was very helpful and helped us choose the best options for what we wanted. No overselling here, which was appreciated.

We bought two 48 hour deluxe tickets, all three routes, plus 8x Star Ferry tickets and entrance to The Peak tram. About £100 all-in, for two, so not cheap.

The problem is that Hong Kong just doesn't have that much to show off on a bus tour except skyscrapers and heavy traffic. And that is pretty much all we saw. The audio commentary was on the light side, and repetitive. It even missed mentioning the Noonday Gun as we flew past. The Green route bus ran quite late when collecting us from Stanley, as was evident by the driver clearly trying to catch up. "Hairy" doesn't do it justice by a long chalk. Also, 1.9km upstairs and outside in the Aberdeen tunnel during rush hour does horrible things to your lungs.

The Peak tram was worthwhile. We may try the Kowloon trip tomorrow, but are more likely to keep to our feet, and see this city as it is best seen.

It is a good tour, but half a day not enough on the island. Food was not so good!
It would be better to stay for a whole day to explore.

This tour is amazing!! This is such a unique experience that takes you away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and exposes you to these majestic animals that are unfortunately getting smaller and smaller in number. There are two options for pickup: in Kowloon near the Peninsula Hotel, or meeting directly at the Tung Chung pier (which is close to the airport). On your way back, you can also choose to leave the group at the Tung Chung pier, get dropped off at the Tung Chung metro, or get a ride all the way back to Kowloon. We were also a little unsure what the "boat" would be like, but it ended up being more of a yacht --very spacious, covered, and with easy 360 degree viewing. I also get seasick, but the waters in the area where the boat sails are quite calm and with few waves. They quote a 95% success rate on being able to see dolphins, which I believe --the crew seemed quite experienced at spotting and knew all the places where the pods tend to hang out.

The captain kept a respectable distance from the dolphins and allowed them to approach us on their own terms, which several of them did! We saw probably seven unique dolphins and they were clearly comfortable and allowed us to be in close proximity to them, but didn't exhibit any problematic behaviors like asking for food, performing on command, etc. We also saw what seemed to be a university-affiliated marine biologist performing research on the vessel, which we thought was really neat. Overall just felt like this company is very committed to their mission of spreading awareness of these beautiful animals. This tour is a great way to support them at a very reasonable price, while also getting a high quality, unique, and exciting experience.

On the way to Lantau, Jacky gave us an excellent overview of Hong Kong and about the historical development and mentality of the inhabitants of Hong Kong.
With a lot of serenity and always a mischievous smile he showed us the island and explained the sights perfectly even for non-native speakers.
What remains is a memory of a wonderful half day, which was also perfected by Jacky, since my wife is limited in walking, he adapted the program a bit and even found a way to reach directly to the big Buddha.
We are so excited that we will book another tour when we visit Hongkong next year, and we are sure that this is definitely a good decision.

We had just over half a day in Hong Kong at the end of our cruise . It was so interesting. Jacky picked 6 of us up, together with all of our luggage. He firstly took us to Victoria Harbour - there he explained the history and culture, which gave us context for the rest of the day. Jacky then took us to the financial district, fisherman’s village, Kowloon market, etc - we packed a lot in. Jacky was so knowledgeable, calm, relaxed , explaining things to us all the time. Then he took us to the airport for our flight. The perfect guide, and we definitely want to return to Hong Kong for longer next time!

We could not make the Shenzhen tour due to a totally unexpected visa related issue. Appreciate the understanding of the tour operator and Tripadvisor in arranging a full refund within a day.

As an advice to anyone planning this trip, please consider applying for China visa from your home country without depending on the on arrival visa option.

This truly is the greatest, the fastest and the tallest day tour. Shenzhen was farmland not long ago and in 30 plus years became the 3rd largest city in China, with the second most skyscrapers in the world with the 5th tallest building in the world, and a bullet train to Hong Kong which takes a mere 13 minutes. Jacky expertly guided us on a full day of exploration of this new modern city. Once we arrived via train from Hong Kong, we chose to walk from one site to the next but if we were not up for the walking, Jacky could have ferried via taxi. We explored lively open air markets, massive underground malls, a flower festival at Lianhuashan Park, the Civic Center and 2 observations decks including the Ping A building that have 360 views of this impressive city.

We highly recommend this tour with Jacky and his company, This Is Asia Tour. Jacky is very knowledgeable and customized the tour to our interests. You do need a China Visa which increases the cost but was very worth it for us.
