This tour was great! If you are looking for a quick day trip to get a feel for Macau then this is the tour for you. Our guide was Cisco who is the MAN. He was great at explaining the history and landmarks. He has a great sense of humor which made the tour memorable.

Side note you do have to go through customs/passport checks going to and from Macau from Hong Kong. So depending on how busy it is it may take extra time.

    Well worth it

Good excursion ruined by bad weather. Could barely see 10 m from top of Victoria Mt. Heavy rain made walking around the uneven small streets of HK very difficult. Dim Sum OK but not. For me

We took the Green Line which circled HK island. It was a beautiful ride and the recorded commentary was engaging and informative. 4 stars instead of 5 because the ticket cost seemed excessive compared to HOHO bus tours in other cities

Great day out in Macau. Definitely have an egg tart and beef jerky at the temple stop. The Venetian casino is amazing. You could easily spend a few days in Macau exploring. This tour gives you a taste of Macau. Well worth it.

We toured with Wong; he communicated with us from the moment we made the reservation and continued after he picked us up at the hotel precisely on time. He was adept at finding the best parking and gave us an excellent and detailed history of Hong Kong and its cultural significance. He had all the best spots for picture taking, and before you knew it, he had pulled over, and we popped out for a quick and perfect photo. An excellent photographer too. We did the 4-hour tour, and we went to the heights of the Peak and down to the beachfront. Wong was a delight. Highly recommend

This tour was the best!! BUT!! I think what made it so special was our guide, Andy! He really wanted us to see Hong Kong from a locals perspective. He explained local life, and how it was growing up in Hong Kong. Andy made sure we had a very local experience with Dim Sum, when we said we really wanted to try it. It was amazing!! It was one of our best tours even, if you wanted a local experience!! Thank you Andy, Susan and Family!

Very interesting and enjoyable monastery tour. Although the weather wasn’t great - raining and very misty - Tamara brightened everything up with her smiles and helpful advice. Great to see the different types of monasteries and to have Tamara’s historical and cultural explanations about them and local history. Tamara gave us as much time as we wanted to explore and to take photos and even offered to take some photos for us. She also gave us an excellent recommendation for lunch at a local restaurant and for the homemade raspberry juice which they served! Highly recommended! Tamara is an expert and very friendly and kind guide!

This was the second consecutive day we toured with Jacky Wong. The day before we did a walking tour of Hong Kong (see separate review). We are a family of 6 ranging in age from 18-60 years old, each with our own preferences and interests. The Lantau driving tour was the perfect follow up from our previous city tour. We visited a fishing village, magnificent temples, beautiful beaches and the giant Buddha. Jacky continued to be the tour guide extraordinaire, engaging all of us with his knowledge of every site's history and significance in the local culture. By the end of the tour, we all agreed that we could not have wished for a better guide to show us in and around Hong Kong. Jacky left us all with valuable insights and a thorough understanding of what Hong Kong, Lantau and everything in-between are all about. We could not recommend him more highly.

Mel was our tour guide and he was amazing. He took us to 2 very different temples. These were both fantastic in their own way and Mel’s information and company were both superb. We also enjoyed traditional dim sum which was a very cultural experience.
I would highly recommend Hello tours and especially Mel. Thank you.

The toot was really good and the guide gave us a lot of insights about the city and the life in China. He also was very flexible when we wanted more time in the museum and gave us more time.
I would definitely recommend the tour.

Our family tour for 9 with two elderly members was carried out like a professional mission. As my in laws are elderly, we had to make use of a wheelchair. Jacky and team were able to navigate the crowded narrow streets of Macau, allowing all members of our family to experience the historic sites of Macau. His historic insight gave the sites the context needed for us to appreciate Macau. He was engaging to all the members and arranged a wonderful lunch for us to enjoy the local cuisine. We would highly recommend his team for any groups wanting a tour.
