- Jenelle Laila1 contributionI love this studio and its environment. A beautiful way to take in a part of Hong Kong. The teachers are warm and knowledgeable.Written 6 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Penny LaneHong Kong, China22 contributionsMy husband and I stayed in one of the Plateau guestrooms for 2 nights. Originally we were only going to do 1 spa treatment during our stay, but we had such a wonderful couples massage that we each booked treatments the following morning!
Excellent selection of essential oils and very relaxed masseuses who made us feel comfortable and not rushed - this is key as we've found other high-end spas to rush us out of the rooms following the treatment. Not here! They let you hang out in the rooms, enjoying tea and a small fruit cup. Wonderful attention to detail!
Regarding the guestrooms - we've basically been "stuck" in Hong Kong now for over a year and have done a lot of staycations all over HK. This is my favorite! The Plateau guestroom is like an escape to Japan - with a huge "onsen" style bath tub in the room. Staying on the Plateau spa floor was super lovely and zen. Easy access to the pool and outdoor terrace. Extremely quiet floor. Highly recommend if you're in the mood for a zen-weekend-getaway!Written 12 May 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Relaxing treatment and a great mini concert.. Sadly, this was their last event due to closure.. bittersweet!Written 24 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. When I stepped inside, the black stone floor was warm, the walls and seats are built with Himalayan salt bricks with warm orange lighting. This calming feeling of the room made me feel at ease. I do my mediation for an hr. Just make sure to drink a lot of water to prevent throat dry but it really works to my nose with great breath and no more mucus. I would recommend to people regardless of whether you suffer from any of the ailments. It was worth to try!Written 20 May 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- TokyoEricTokyo110 contributionsSeveral friends in HK have studied with Veer for many years & were always talking about this great yoga teacher in HK, take yoga classes everywhere I travel and I think Veer is one of the most knowledgeable instructors I’ve met. He has a variety of types of classes but what sets him apart is his ability to understand his student’s bodies and what each person needs to do in order to progress. I took both a regular class and a private lesson & I learned many things I will take into my regular yoga practice. The studio has changing areas and there even is a shower. He’s got all sorts of props to help less flexible people like myself. I’m looking forward to my next visit to HK to take his classes.Written 5 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Maggie Wong1 contributionVery comfortable and relaxing place, just give me a feel like home. Yoga tutors are professional and nice. There are different types of yoga that you can choose, such as Hatha, Back care yoga, Yin Yang, etc. It’s quite tired after shopping around at Central so I joined the Thai yoga massage with my friend, which is a one hour class. It’s very relaxing and we had lots of fun here. This studio is located at the heart of Central, very easy to go, just five minutes’ walk from MTR exit D, it is very convenient, don’t miss it if you come to Hong Kong! Recommended for friends!Written 26 March 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Sojourn24229Hong Kong, China22 contributionsProfessional barre yoga studio near KCC on Austen Road. The instructors are highly talented, this place is for real. Often can see real dancers come here for the class or the stretch. If you are travelling, it's kinda close to the Airport Express Station and you should drop in for a class. Some of the classes are female only, but some are open to all....there are never more than 8 ppl in a class and many classes are smaller than that. I had a private class, which was worth it. I learned several new stretches that no one has mentioned before, and the instructor/yogi said that she thought my knee problems stemmed from the pelvis, meaning my core and pelvis are not that flexible and my knees are doing the work of the core. She is probably right...so we opened up the pelvis (atypical leg stretches) and it hurt like hell, then I felt great afterwards. Defintely a new perspective on any aches and pains you might be having.Written 12 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
