Just a 50 minutes bus ride from Central, you can step into a laidback village type of life in Stanley Market.

You can explore the shops in the market and Stanley Plaza, which boasts a number of eateries. There are also a few restaurants along the seafront towards Murray House and the Pier, next to the Tin Hau temple.

There is also a small cha can teang called Si Yik, which serves toast and noodles with milk tea and is usually open till 1230 pm.

Check out the souvenir shops, as well as the 3-4 art galleries. The shops are open most days and, of course, are busier on the weekends. Do watch out for cyclists who illegally cycle along the pathways between the shops - one of them actually rode into my wife, bruising her shoulder.

Access is easy, with minibus 40 from Jardine Bazaar in Causeway Bay and bus 6 from Central, among others.

Honestly, everything you see here can be bought from taobao for cheaper. So i found it a waste of my time. But for some, it might be a fun shoppjng experience.

Comfortable and easy to use mall with good support services and wide selection of stores, note mainly luxury. Plus a few nice cafes.

It is the oldest night market in H.K in Yau Ma Tei area , lot of tourist and locals hang out since the new development in the area few years ago , market cut in two from North to South and still over crowed with lot of tourist looking for bargain, souvenir and T shirt , the quality very poor , not for serious shopping spend a hour is more them enough and the restaurants too dirty and expensive , stay away also little heads up , lot of pickpockets , prostitute around , and very careful when you take picture in the area , some one will come up to you ask for money because the invasion of the privacy , but over all still a fun safe spot to export .

At first, this is just a mall and a rather expensive one at that. No need to come here for shopping. However, there are two "secret" tips that you shouldn't miss out on, if you decide to visit the mall.
    1) Visit the roof top garden, it's very nice and a perfect place to relax on your way through the city. One way to access it is by Shake Shack.
    2) In IFC 2 tower, accessible through the lobby, you can get access to the Monetary Authority on 55th floor. They have a little museum on Hong Kong money and of course a stunning view. The best thing: a visit is free! Just bring a photo ID for the visitor's pass.

Times Square is a huge shopping mall on 16 floors, with shopping, restaurants and MTR subway access. Located in busy Causeway Bay area, it is very popular and especially busy most of the day not to mention lunchtime. It is a popular tourist spot also with all the exclusive brand name stores, specialty shops, a plethora of restaurants, Chinese, Asian and Western, bakeries,, cafés, chocolate shops and gift stores. Worth a walk thru even if you have nothing to buy.

Unfortunately when we visited it was raining, so it wasn't optimal.

The toilet on the basement floor is extraordinarily luxurious, clean, and modern, our guide informed us that a luxury toilet is located on the ground that can be reached by elevator.

I had the fortune of having Nick tailor my wedding tuxedo in February 2024. I had 2 tuxedos done and I can’t even choose which one was better because they both are perfect. Honestly on my part, I probably made it as difficult as possible, but for Bobby’s fashion’s team and Nick, it showed their sense of style, professionalism, integrity, but most importantly showed their dedication and care for their customers.

For those who were wondering how difficult I was, I gave them 2 and a half weeks time only, where I had missed my tuxedo collection appointment and had awoken Nick outside of office hours to collect my tuxedo on the morning of the wedding day! It was still no problem from the team and smiles were had in every encounter.

With the most luxurious materials, they had given a very solid price. The measurements were to the dot and the personalisation on the tuxedo was immaculate. I have had suits made in many Tsim Sha Tsui tailors and have looked up every possible review, made a few suits and tuxedos for my pre-wedding but Bobby’s fashion and Nick in particular takes the cake. They were all a pleasure to work with and they have a customer for life and I thank them for making my wedding perfect/ or even happening at all!

It's a huge shopping mall in Mongkok, floor by floor, with various brands of apparel, beauty products, groceries, and restaurants according to your preferences.

After a whole day outside at Ngong Ping and Tai O,
We city peeps returned to the warm embrace... of a mall beside the cable car station.

    Shopping:
Was promised of good shopping, and indeed there were numerous brands here, and several of them the outlet version i.e. cheaper old stocks e.g. adidas, Calvin Klein, Club21, Cole Haan, ecco, Guess, Hugo Boss, Puma, Rockport, Vans...
But at the end of the day, it'll be better if you did your research on which stores you definitely want to visit, or else the mall is a little too big and perhaps too confusing (three wings on this building) to visit all stores.

    Dining:
Food options were aplenty - with Hong Kong, Korean, Jap, Chinese, Taiwanese, Vietnamese and Western options - but even the budget-friendly food court, Food Opera on Level 7 itself has nine stores selling nine cuisines, including one (Thai Chiu) awarded with Michelin Bib Gourmand - great for those who like to enjoy a few types of cuisines at one place.

    Getting out:
Tung Chung MTR station's connected to one of its exits, and the taxi stands are on that side too. However, in the end, we still found uber to be the fastest way to get out because there were simply too few green cabs (i.e. those working on Lantau) available at the taxi stands. Most of the cabs at the taxi stands were red cabs (i.e. those returning/ mainly operating at Kowloon).

The former Police Married Quarter (PMQ) in Central was restored and repurposed as a creative and design focused shopping venue in Central back in 2014. You won't find the typical luxury and international brand name shops here However. This is a social project whereby affordable space has been set aside for local entrepreneurs, seeking to showcase and grow their businesses as art courses, galleries, lifestyle and consumable products, clothing, fashion, jewellery and all manner of creative shops. There are a couple of casual eateries and coffee shops as well.

In short, if you want to see local Hong Kong brands, there are around 100 small shops that line the floors at PMQ. There are also large scale seasonal decorations along with occasional exhibitions and events that have made for interesting experiences and reasons to visit PMQ over the years. You'll find PMQ along Aberdeen Street in Central. Shops have respective opening hours but are generally open from late morning until evening each day. The venue can be a bit crowded during midday weekends and public holidays but is usually far less crowded than our higher end malls.

Elements Mall is located in West Kowloon above the Kowloon MTR station. Above and beyond the fact that it is a mall with all the main characters that are visible in all malls, there is a rooftop restaurant complex. It is quite unique in that there are about 10 restaurants organized in a circle with outdoor dining and a large center space, with plenty of area to walk, browse, and peruse the many restaurant menus. The mall itself is new, very clean and organized and enjoyable to walk thru. Notice the Starbucks. It is huge and stretches forever down the walkway. Also, an ice-skating rink.

This is a feature street market in Mongkok located just north of Prince Edward West Road, around a 5 minute walk from both Prince Edward and the Mongkok East MTR Stations. The Mongkok Flower Market has dozens of shops and is worth seeing anytime of of the year. However, it is particularly interesting now during the Chinese New Year season.

At this time of year, the flower market is thriving with shops and added stalls filled with seasonal flowers, plants and decorations. You'll be able to see daffodils, orchids, chrysanthemums and holiday specials including Narcissus, peonies, kumquat (mandarin orange) plants, bamboo shoots, colourful willow stems and cherry blossom stems amongst others.

Do expect crowds when you plan to visit the Flower Market but especially during the Chinese New Year - to a point of being uncomfortable in the evenings and weekends. As such, consider midday weekday visits during CNY when things are more manageable and its easier to take pictures.
