- Kam R1 contributionEntry is through a shopping mall and a number of travelators so allow at least 10 minutes to reach the entrance. There is a free guided tour every hour which is a must if you want to learn facts about the mosque and it’s construction as opposed to just viewing it. Our guide Asma was wonderful and very knowledgeable. She also had a great sense of humour which added to the experience. The Mosque is a beautiful, relaxing place to visit and the architecture and attention to detail is very impressive. Was 126AED for 2 people so £28.40, not £5 as advertised but was still worth it. We went to Le Cafe signature gold leaf coffee and cake. It was delicious! If you have any desire to learn more about Falcons and Falconry this is a must-do. Our guide, Hassan, was incredibly knowledgeable but just as importantly, funny! He was able to keep a crowd that spoke at least four different languages, engaged for the entire tour. It was amazing to be up close and personal to witness a bird “pedicure” and also to watch a feeding from very close up. Even watching a surgery in action was amazing and shows how much these birds are really cared for.

The water doesnt have waves and is quiet calm not to mention the water is very warm. Bring sunscreen because the Emirati sun is very strong. We played a bit of soccer because they had goals on the beach and cooled off in the water. Great beach and free too.
