Booking was easy and the company and driver were super responsive and easy to contact. We were able to make some additional stops and any other items we required along the way. We were not pressured to do anything and loved not being crowded in a huge group tour. My female friend and I traveled together and our driver was very respectful, helpful, and was like a local friend to us our entire trip. We met the owner/manager from the company as well and we was extremely gracious and polite, making sure to see how we were doing through our trip. Khalil even made an extra stop to our first hotel to pick up an item my friend lost there. Even though we could have walked over he insisted on taking us so we could relax and not worry about it before going to check in for our final hotel. Excellent service!

We are planning on coming back and will book with Khalil as our driver specifically. His hospitality was amazing and when we had some issues with one of our hotels, they did everything to fix the issue and make sure the issue doesn’t happen again. The Bedouin camp was excellent. So incredibly comfortable and clean. Get the deluxe tent option! You won’t regret it!

    Comments on the Abraham side:

    1. Why would you have a whats app group that the people who are on the trip can’t even message in? It was messaging only for admins and the only message we got was to fill out a form that the border crossing didn’t even need. Maybe allow us all to message into the group and if it’s an inconvenience for the admins to get thousands of messages maybe just have (1) admin in it not 5.

    2. Maybe a little more help with the border crossing, we understand you can’t come with us across the border but maybe a more detailed instruction would help. We all got to the border hopped off the bus and the driver didn’t even say a word of what to do next. So we hopped in trying to figure it out ourselves then we went into the terminal, ✅, and then went to the desk because we kept hearing “you need to exchange money” to cross so we exchanged money hopped over to get our border crossing visa ✅ then went to the final terminal to get across to the Jordanian side and the women said passenger fee and showed us this little QR code thing and informed us we have to go back into the line we were just in, that now has 20 people in it, to pay. Later we found out after wasting 30-45 minutes that thing we prepaid for on the email you sent us was the same thing we just paid again because we didn’t know where to apply this prepaid amount from the email you sent us.

Let me break it down for you people who are reading my review.
1 you get dropped off at the terminal
    2. Go into the terminal
    3. Go to the desk furthest to the left next to the information center at the bottom it will say “passenger fee and currency exchange”.
    4. Get your currency (if you prepaid for the Border crossing on the israeli side skip steps 7-9)
    5. Go with your dinars and prepaid pass to the first window get your exit visa from Israel.
    6. Now go to the next window and give her your prepaid QR code along with your passport.
7 you are now in Jordan.
8 for the people who didn’t prepay for there exit fee from Israel when you’re exchanging money also say “I’d like to pay for my passenger fee”
    9. Follow steps 5&6 after you get your passenger fee and dinars.

On the Jordanian side, if you get Mahdi:
He takes care of everything from passport control, to getting your visa into Jordan he even spots you the 50 dinar till the end of the trip and you pay him back.

    3. We got across the border relatively fast and called Abraham tours to ask where the shuttle was and you guys informed us “it’s 10 minutes out” we were very relieved to here this after sitting on a extremely uncomfortable 4 hour bus ride. Sure enough 30 minutes goes by and no sign of the bus driver. 45 minutes after the phone call there is the bus driver. Trust me as a tourist I’d much rather hear “he’s 1 hour out” and he comes in 45 minutes as opposed to 10 minutes and he’s now late.

The one big thing that turned this into a 4 star review and not a 3 star is MAHDI!!! He’s a great tour guide and a true asset to abraham touring company. Because on the Jordanian side he always made us feel safe and secure. He’s also probably one of the most knowledgeable people on the face of this planet! If you go on Abraham tours make sure you get Mahdi!!!

We absolutely loved this trip and are already planning our next trip to Jordan. Our guide, Firas was fantastic and we couldn't fault him. He treated us like family and made our trip even better.
Our hotel in Amman - Mena Tyche was lovely. We had a beautiful room and made use of the pool and gym facilities. The buffet food wasn't the best quality but there was a fresh counter where you could get omelettes and pancakes for breakfast or pasta for dinner and this was great.
Our hotel in Petra - Petra Corner was by far the worst hotel of our trip. We lost water on our last day in the whole hotel, the food options were very limited but tasted quite nice, and it wasn't a clean hotel. This was probably the only negative of the entire trip, but luckily we did not spend much time in this hotel.
Our tent in Sun City was the highlight of our accomodation. It was glamping to the max in the most beautiful surroundings, the food was the best we had all trip and all the staff were wonderful.
Our hotel in Aqaba - My hotel had very friendly staff and a lovely rooftop pool with amazing panoramic views.

The activities we did were fantastic, we did plenty of extras that Firas recommended such as a Turkish Spa after our full day in Petra - this was definitely needed and a completely new experience for us but we loved it.
We also did Petra by night which was a unique and beautiful experience.
The 4 hour jeep tour in Wadi Rum was probably the highlight of our whole trip. The landscape was incredible and we had a lovely local guide called Abdullah who made us all tea at sunset and drove us around the dessert which he could have done with his eyes closed. A two hour trip is included in the tour but without a doubt you have to upgrade to the four hour.
We did a sunrise camel ride at Wadi Rum as well which was a very enjoyable experience.
In Aqaba we had a glass bottomed boat tour so we could see all the coral in the bay and that was a lovely was to enjoy the beach.

The activities that were included were also amazing. We had a panoramic tour of Amman so we could see the highlights of the city and try local foods from the markets. Visiting Jerash is a must do for any history lovers as this was a whole Roman town beautifully preserved and it was full of history and such a beautiful place to visit. Floating in the dead sea was such a unique and memorable experience that you can't miss. Petra was incredible and the local tour guide was so passionate and knowledgeable. The night in Wadi Rum was unforgettable and the trip to Aqaba rounded off our trip beautifully. And there were so many more stops along our journey that I could talk your ear off about.

We also had a lovely group, there were six of us and we got on like a house on fire! We made a group WhatsApp to share photos and made some great memories and friends.

I would definitely use this company again (with Firas as our guide of course) and I would definitely visit Jordan again. This is the perfect one week taster for Jordan and I know you will leave wanting to come back and do so much more as it is the most beautiful and wonderful country.

Don't be tempted to save a day and do the two day tour. Don't go with a different tour operator. Don't miss out. This three day tour is simply outstanding.

Ali was out guide and could not have been more caring, knowledgeable and professional. He clearly loves his country and his people, and he was so helpful in guiding us through how to be good guests and explaining the history and culture. Each day was varied with the first and the last having significant amounts of driving but broken up with stops and visiting attractions. The travel went by quickly and the coach was comfy.

The middle day was the clear highlight with a spectacular full day in Petra. Come ready to walk and hike if you want to make the most of it but it is an experience you will never forget.

I thought it might be helpful to capture a few things I wish I had known before I left.

    - You don't need foreign currency before you leave. The Israeli exit fee (184ILS I think) can be paid on card and there is a cash machine and currency exchange at the Jordanian border. To pick up Dinar.

    - I was a solo traveler and I took out 70 Jordanian Dollars for drinks, tips and one small gift purchase. You can easily spend more and some managed with less but it felt about right. No matter how much water you take to Petra you will inevitably need to buy some liquid during the day if it's hot. You will also want to be able to tip generously throughout and your guide will advise what is appropriate.

    - The accommodation at the Bedouin Camp is out of this world. I think it changes in winter but we stayed in the 7 Wonders Bedouin Camp with warm showers, comfy beds, and incredible hosts. Some in our group had upgraded to luxury tents so contact Abraham Tours if you're interested in that. They had en suite facilities and viewing windows I think.

    - Every meal was a buffet so there was always choice but honestly, every meal was outstanding.

    - The borders take a bit of time to navigate but you'll get there. When you check in your bags you get given a sticker - hold on to it because you'll need it to get your bag back.

    - We were back in Jerusalem at 8pm on our return. It sounds as though this varies a lot depending on the Israeli border but we sailed through.

I hope this is helpful. Overall, it is the trip of a lifetime and not to be missed. I thought it represented incredible value for money.

Big thanks to the wonderful Ali!

From the beginning to the end of our Jordan stay everything went perfectly well. Yahya is very knowledgeable about his country and took his time to explain every little piece of detail, it was like being in history but not being bored or overwhelmed with information overload. He also engaged my children in conversation of the information he shared with us to ensure they enjoyed the trip.

Yahya is very prompt as well and the other drivers that picked us up from Petra was very efficient as well. The vehicles used were clean, air conditioned, and cold bottles of water were in excess supply non-stop.

It is also important to note you are in safe hands with Yahya, trustworthy and very nice…he looks out for his client and helped us bargain prices with the locals when we wanted to buy things to take back home.

Yahya also surprised us with a desert tour experience at the Wadi Rum…it was one of the highlights of our trip, the tour guide was knowledgeable as well and the experience will linger in my memory and that of my family forever.

We booked this tour back in Feb and about a month before our trip, the airline we used changed the dates of our arrival/departure. We were devastated as we thought we wont be able to make this tour anymore as it starts on Sunday and finishes on Sunday. We have contacted Zaid Tours and they were really very helpful in rearranging everything for us to fit our new dates. They were responding to all our questions within few hours.

On the arrival we were welcomed by one of the Zaid Tours employees who had our visas ready for us to ensure smooth passage though immigration.

Our guide Firas was waiting for us outside and on the way to the hotel he explained our itinerary for the first day. He is so far THE BEST guide we had on all of our travels. He was very informative, answered all our questions with very good sense of humor. We were a group of 6 people - 3 different nationalities & had a great banter. Firas made sure there was not a silent moment in the car & atmosphere was always good.
By end of the every day he would explain our itinerary for the next day and made sure we are happy with it.

I would highly recommend to do Petra at Night & add 2 extra hours to jeep tour in Wadi Rum. We had an amazing local guide Abdullah who showed us the best spots for pics and made a yummy tea in the middle of the desert.
We have also upgraded our stay in Wadi Rum to a Martian Dome which was an incredible experience.

The only downside would be the variety of food in the hotels & when we stayed in Petra Corner hotel there was no water for the entire morning.

I will definitely recommend Zaid Tours & specially Firas as a guide to everyone.

We had a wonderful experience in Jordan with our driver Ahmad who was very reliable, always punctual and an excellent driver. The car was comfortable and clean and the itinerary took us to all the beautiful spots in Jordan including Petra, Wadi Rum desert and the Dead Sea in 7 days and it was the perfect amount of time at each place for us. Omran who coordinated the tour was contactable at all times and the communication was excellent! Have already recommended them to my friends who are keen on visiting Jordan and will highly recommend them to you too.👍🏼

The whole trip was both challenging and wonderful at the same time.
The locations and scenery were absolutely stunning.
The food at the camps was great especially the Beduan Tea.
Our guide was Lama who was exceptional and could answer all the million questions we asked as a group.
Massive thanks to the support teams especially the lady in the background who kept us fed and watered every day.
Big shout out to the donkey also who guided us so well.
The group was 14 in total and so made this trip even more amazing.

Zaid Tours is a company with an excellent rating on TripAdvisor. And judging by the photos of its main building, it is a big company. However, as a customer, by their close relationship, I always felt myself treated as if it was a family business.
Our contacts, first with Caroll, sales director, and later with Badria, with whom I worked out the last details of the tour, always took place in an atmosphere of friendliness and professionalism and with a speed that made me feel as if I were their only customer.
But both forgive me. Who is the true soul of the company are the drivers, who are all the days with the customers, while the tours last.
I'm used to doing private tours, but in this case, I was really lucky. The driver assigned to us, Mazen, far exceeded his obligations and went beyond his professionalism. He was a true friend and I dare say, like a father.
Despite a significant flight delay, which extended our arrival time far beyond midnight, we were received by Mazen with extreme sympathy and a big smile on his face. He was for us the true ambassador of Jordan and the one most responsible people for the success of our tour.
As for the trip itself, the Jordan Pass 8-Night Best of Jordan: Jerash, Petra, Wadi Rum, Aqaba, & Dead Sea is a very complete tour, for anyone who wants to know the most important parts of the country.
The option chosen was 4* hotels, which were quite good.
The fact that the tour has hotels on a half board basis was also a great choice, as it allowed us a greater time of rest at the end of the long days of travel.
Thank you so much Caroll, Badria and Mazen, for the lovely days you provided us.
