The citadel was quite an impressive and cheerful place that must be on the list without hesitation. It exceeded my expectations due to the beauty of the top view, the impressiveness of the Roman ruins, the museum, and too many picturesque locations there. Hence, it is one of the best locations in Amman.

Built over 1,800 years and still in use today, the Roman Theatre in Amman is certainly worth seeking out. It stands out when you look down on it from The Citadel and it is all the more impressive when you get up close. It is quite easy to stand in front of those tiered seats and imagine what a sight it must have been when those seats were filled with over 5,000 people from all walks of Roman life. What a spectacle!

The museum is one of the most important things you should visit in Amman. It has a collection of Royal cars for the Royal family and some other vehicles that were presented in famous movies such as Star Wars and The Martian, filmed in Wadi Rum, the Jordanian desert.
