It is almost like the Champs Elysee but if only they took care of it more. The varied topics and sheer volume of books he surrounded himself with. - ellen06804Danbury, CT172 contributionsSomething you must do when visiting Israel! A lovely stroll along the water; see the fresh fish markets and explore the old city. A WORD OF CAUTION: I was stupid enough to set my purse down for 30 seconds to snap a photo and it was stolen. Amidst the throngs of visitors from all over the world, some very dishonest and horrible men lurk about watching eagle-eyed for any opportunity to steal. Whoever took my purse was gone in a flash. Some nearby tourist looked at her photos and we see him in one of her pics grabbing the purse from behind a wall where he was hiding. I can not say this place is dangerous, just use common sense and don't do a dumb thing like I did.
