    The condensed Kyrgyzstan visit
    The most pleasant and memorable part of the trip was the guide, Mak. A perfect host with great English, insightful knowledge of Kyrgyzstan, it’s people and culture, was a great compliment to the sights of the journey encircling the lake. I am not a guided tour guy….but will never regret or forget this experience.

    Great Introduction to Kyrgyzstan
    This tour was done as the first of two x one day tours with Ventura Tours, the second being the one day Issyk Kul Lake Tour.

    The logistics for both trips were arranged easily via WhatsApp with the owner Ash and he kept us fully informed during the days before the trip. We were met on both days by our guide Boca and driver Rayim on time at the entrance to our hotel.

    The first half of the day was driving out to Ala Archa National Park which took approximately 1 hour in a car which was comfortable, clean and had seatbelts. We walked up to Broken Heart point which took about 1 hour. The walk is relatively short but the path is steep and was slightly icy as we went in March. Good footwear is essential but poles are provided. The valley is surrounded by 4000m+ peaks which provided some breathtaking views and really show what Kyrgyzstan is all about!

    On the way back into Bishkek we stopped for lunch at a local restaurant, Boca was very helpful in translating, explaining and advising on good local dishes but we were able to choose our own food so can cater to things we preferred.

    The second half of the day was spent in Bishkek City where Boca took us round the main sights of the city and explained more about the history of Kyrgyzstan, there was quite a lot to cover so make sure you wear comfortable shoes. After the tour we were dropped off back at the hotel with some time to relax before dinner.

    Overall the trip was fantastic, the first half gives a good introduction to the incredible scenery that Kyrgyzstan has to offer with only a short drive from the city, while the second half provided insight into the rich history of the country which is something we knew nothing about. Boca spoke very good English and was able to explain anything we wanted to know, the tour was well organised and safe. We would both recommend Ventura Tours for your visit to Kyrgyzstan.

    Full day trip went very well
    I had an amazing day overall. They made sure I didn’t miss out on anything. Passionately showed me around everything. I didn’t feel boring at all throughout the trip. It was always something interesting. Definitely looking for their other trips to complete soon since they are very passionate about what they do.

    nature, hiking, nice guide and good food
    a great tour with a great guide. the hike was wonderful and at the end there was a delicious meal. I can only recommend it to those who enjoy being in nature

    Wonderful experience with a great guide
    Ventura was recommended by a colleague at work who recently availed their tour service. I’m glad we followed the recommendation as Ash is an amazing guide. It was just me and my friend and was our first time to experience snow. He made sure we experience the best of the tours we booked at the same checking on us that we haven’t frozen to death yet 😂

    Overall, it was a great experience and hope to come back during spring season.

    Lovely day in the mountains
    We had a wonderful day trip with Aibek to visit the Burana tower and the Sanatorium. Aibek was very knowledgeable, willing to answer all our funny questions, and had a wonderful sense of humor. He was also very flexible with us allowing us to modify the itinerary to suit our needs. Wonderful wonderful day touring the mountains around Bishkek!

    GREAT TOUR for francophones
    I took part in the Tour called Heart of Kyrgystan in September 2022. I found our tour guides very professional (and both spoke very very good French !) and the driver was a good guy too. I especially liked the hotel in Chopton Ata, the valley Grigorieskoe was a good surprise. The Karakol ski resort was good too as well as Jeti Oguz. the Skazka canyon was GREAT. I LOVED Tash Rabat. Song Kul is nice (especially the horse riding) but I preferred the way down to Bishkek with great landscapes. Food is EXCELLENT with a mix of restaurants, yurts, guesthouses. I do not eat much meat so LOVED their soup (chorpo) and fish. Only bad points: I was not so fan of the Burana tower or the cascades near Issyk Kul.

    Beautiful countries and amazing experience with Max/Kirill
    I have only positive things to say about SUV tours. Kirill was very prompt in his replies and our queries while we were planning this trip. 2 of us took the 7-8 day best of Kyrgyz and Kazakh tour and we couldn't have been happier. Starting out trip from Bishkek, we ended in Almaty. Our driver and guide was Max and he was just simply amazing. He was always punctual and exactly on time 100%. He was flexible and would be very comfortable on suitably modifying our travel itinerary based on what we were enjoying and what we were not. His English was impeccable and clearly he has a passion for this job and proud of his country. We were so glad that we got Max as our guide. He tried his best to make our trip very comfortable. Even though our car broke down at one spot, but even then his priority was always first our safety and comfort and we really appreciate and respect this. The few homestay we stayed in were beautiful and had good hospitality. I would definitely recommend this company for your future travel plans.

    Exceeding already high expectations
    A truly wonderful experience and perfect escape from the hustle of everyday city life - just 40 minutes drive from the center of Bishkek. Despite the harsh winter conditions, we successfully reached our destination and I even managed to take some nice pictures.

    However, what exceeded my expectations in every possible sense is the company of a truly amazing and knowledgeable young man Ash - the inspiring founder of this successful small business with whom we covered a wide range of exciting topics: from history related to the particular geography all the way to literature and philosophy.

    I highly recommend Ventura Tours for organising tours in all of CIS region

    An Exceptional Day worth Remembering.. ❤️😊
    It was truly an amazing experience for us.

    Ash, the guide, was super knowledgeable and funny, never a dull moment with him. First, we visted Burana Tower in Tokmok town outside of Bishkek City and there we cllimb up the tower through dark, steep and winding stairways. Ash was all helpful and encouraging that we do it and was worth it when we reached the top. Afterwards, we then went around the vicinity of the tower to see and learnt about the grave markers, there was also a small museum that contains some artifacts found at site many years ago. Afterwards, we were treated a special lunch - local cusine - that we got to enjoy too. Then we headed to the beautiful and magnificent Issyk Kul Lake in the town of Cholpon-Ata, with a special boat ride - highlight was feeding the birds with bread and they got to catch it mid-air. Plus, the ladies in the boat were all awesome as they mingle and dance with us. Our last stop was an open air museum called Ruh-Ordo (Spirit's Centre) with view of Issyk Kul Lake. We headed back to our hotel at the end of the day with all smiles, thanks to Ash for a wonderful day.

    Magical time in Kyrgyzstan!
    I had the most amazing time on a solo tour with Ash and Alex. It was my second time in Kyrgyzstan so we decided to adjust the itinerary a bit. I had to fly out of Almaty, Kazakhstan and Ash was very flexible and arranged for a driver to pick me up from the border and drive me to the airport. Everything was just perfect and definitely one of the most memorable trips ever!

    Unforgettable 5 days
    We had one of the most memorable and amazing 5 days in kyrgyzstan thanks to this wonderful tour elaborated by the founder and who was luckily our guide Ash. his collegue and driver valodia is simply a gentleman. In a nutshell. If you want to see most of the gems of kyrgyzstan in short time, go with these guys , they are the best 👌

    Amazing tour of Bishkek and Burana Tower
    Overall this was an amazing tour. Ash is a great guide, he knows his city and country well and is really happy to chat with you about it and answer any questions you have. I learned a lot about the history of the country, got a great tour of Bishkek and of Burana Tower. I had a lot of requests to stop for photos of horses on the windy scenic mountain road back to Bishkek and Ash and the guide were happy to stop for me.

    Ash does longer tours and if I ever return I would like to try one of those out as it's a beautiful country.

    Fantastic experience at Issyk Kul
    We recently spent 6 days in Kyrgyzstan and this tour was without doubt the highlight of the visit. There is something for everyone in this itinerary, with cultural experiences, incredible mountain scenery and some optional physical activities. Talgat is a professional and accommodating guide who was happy to adjust parts of the tour package to suit our interests. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kyrgyzstan!
