    Kicking it old school
    We checked out the Zoological Museum as it is close to Ata-Too Square so it was within easy walking distance and it was not expensive to get in. They have a good selection of animals, bugs and birds that are stuffed and well labeled, I think my daughter would really get a kick out of this place, it was good for us for an hour.

    Small museum about a Kyrgyz literary icon
    The Aaly Tokombaev museum has a collection of well presented displays on the life and times of this Kyrgyz literary icon. Relatives of the author maintain the building and are often on hand to answer any questions. All displays are in Russian/Kyrgyz - no English.

    I just don't get it...
    it's a nice place with some history... but I don't get it. There is almost no information about this place + no guides at all and you should pay entry fee (for what - I don't know)
    Still it's a nice place on in a downtown. It's quiet, the air is cleaner and you may see some nice mountains from there.
