The most pleasant and memorable part of the trip was the guide, Mak. A perfect host with great English, insightful knowledge of Kyrgyzstan, it’s people and culture, was a great compliment to the sights of the journey encircling the lake. I am not a guided tour guy….but will never regret or forget this experience.

driver and guide picked me up from hotel on time, i went in November time so the trail was very snowy, unable to make it to the waterfall did manage to get to the broken heart rock formation. but this did not lesson my fun, was still able to get some good views of the mountains and just being in the forest areas in the winter seeing on the snow on trees was an amazing experience. guide ash was fun company to have during the walk, never pushed me beyond my skill level or rush me at any point during the hike.

Absolutely amazing experience, amazing communication throughout. We booked it and immediately received a message from Ash who is the founder of the tour agency. In the morning our guide and driver were on time. The tour was incredible, the horseback riding was so fun, the food was amazing and the tower was a sight to see and it was worth every penny, What elevated the experience even more was our guide Boka. He was outstanding and honestly the best guide I ever had, I have been to 31 countries and almost on 100 tours and this is the best experience i have ever had. I usually do not leave reviews but I had to leave one as it was a very fun and amazing experience and I 100% recommend anyone to go with this. Our driver was amazing, Boka was the best tour guide and Ash had solid communication. Overall a very good experience

Was just an amazing tour ash my guide really brought the history and culture of both the Burana tower and Bishkek, i was blown away by my guides knowledge of both the city and the tower. Ashs was generally a lot of fun to be around, i learnt a lot about Kyrgyzstan that i never knew and his level of English is that of a native speaker so i had no issues on that front. tower had some beautiful scenery got some great photos.

tour also includes a meal in a local restaurant which really added to the exercise as it was a local place not some tourist trap, this tour is great value for money.

if you're in Bishkek for a short amount of time this is a perfect tour to do, the fact that this tour also combines a tour of the city is a bonus, the tower is not that far for the city, so you really do get alot from this tour.

Nice tour around Issyk-Kul lake. It is a good opportunity to see different part of the country like Issyk-kul lake where you can swim in summer time, mountains, canyons and to stay one night in a yourt camp.

Such an amazing lake where you can relax, swim and enjoy with your friends and family, I know 'cause I experienced it in Lake Issyk-Kul. Crystal clear water surrounded by trees and mountains it's like a piece of heaven. Thanks to our Mr. Aibek our tour guide for recommending this place during our visit at Kyrgyzstan

Great tour to enjoy some spectacular nature outside Bishkek. The Burana Tower shows some great history, the Kegeti Gorge in particular is a sight definitely worth seeing.

The city tour and visiting Ala-Archa National Park was awesome! Next time I visit Bishkek I may just redo the tour because of how much fun it was overall. This was my first tour with Talgat as my guide and he was incredibly hospitable and his family was super welcoming! We ate together after a long day and I was able to try traditional Kyrgyz dishes such as Samsi and Plov. They had a huge selection of fruits and vegetables that they grew in their garden and it was some of the extremely delicious.
I was really happy that we were able to focus on the Bazzars for the city tour because I had never been to one before and Talgat showed me through and even helped me negotiate with a few vendors so I was able to pick up some awesome souvenirs for my family back home. 10/10

It was truly an amazing experience for us.

Ash, the guide, was super knowledgeable and funny, never a dull moment with him. First, we visted Burana Tower in Tokmok town outside of Bishkek City and there we cllimb up the tower through dark, steep and winding stairways. Ash was all helpful and encouraging that we do it and was worth it when we reached the top. Afterwards, we then went around the vicinity of the tower to see and learnt about the grave markers, there was also a small museum that contains some artifacts found at site many years ago. Afterwards, we were treated a special lunch - local cusine - that we got to enjoy too. Then we headed to the beautiful and magnificent Issyk Kul Lake in the town of Cholpon-Ata, with a special boat ride - highlight was feeding the birds with bread and they got to catch it mid-air. Plus, the ladies in the boat were all awesome as they mingle and dance with us. Our last stop was an open air museum called Ruh-Ordo (Spirit's Centre) with view of Issyk Kul Lake. We headed back to our hotel at the end of the day with all smiles, thanks to Ash for a wonderful day.

The experience of rising horses across a small portion of the Tien Shan mountains in Kyrgyzstan far exceeded my expectations. The majestic beauty of these peaks, draped in the spectacular robes of autumn in patterns of both coniferous and deciduous trees was like galloping through a dream. The best part, however, was the company and companionship of Talgat Bokeshov of Datkq Travel. He is super knowledgeable, courteous and really great company. He picked me up at my hotel in Bishkek and right away I enjoyed his company as he told me numerous interesting stories about Kyrgyz history, politics, culture and cuisine. When it was time for us to part ways, I decided to extend the experience by hiring him to take me on an exploratory journey across the country — but I will save that story for a separate review. I highly recommend Datka. If you are lucky enough to meet Talgat of Datka Travel, ask him to tell you about both Queen Datka, and about the poor princess who was locked in Burana Tower.
