What travellers are saying
- 35HunterPentraeth, UK83 contributionsAn assault on the senses, exactly what we expected... very loud music, very busy, many ladies looking to entertain gentlemen... plenty of beer being drunk, lots of neon and street vendors... a very different place in the daytime with a few shops and restaurants open and not much going on... but the street is closed to traffic at 6pm and gets progressively busier from then on in.Written 16 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Archana Bahuguna6 contributionsBig Buddha is closed currently so you cant really go to the main area but there is space for breathtaking views from the side. The travel uphill has very beautiful hops and scenes as well. It was a high point of my trip. But I would recommend waiting for it to be fixed before you plan your travel so you see it in all the awesomeness.Written 18 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Springer114Herefordshire, UK597 contributionsThe streets can be hot , crazy and busy so being able to relax and chill with a Chang on the beach was perfect. It’s very clean and has plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from . The sunsets were perfect and definitely worth experiencing before going for another massage or something to eat .Written 13 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It's a nice beach with golden sand and far less crowds. Spent an entire day there and watched the sunset you cannot see from Patong beach.Written 6 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ruthlmKirkcaldy, UK77 contributionsAn absolutely wonderful experience, with lots of extras we didn't expect, the people that deal with the elephants are extremely caring towards them, very friendly and helpful during the visit. There are a team of photographers taking lots of photos although you can take photos as you wish on youre own devices as you want as well, these photos are then provided at no extra cost, there was also a lovely buffet to enjoy after showering, this was something on my bucket list and I'm so glad I chose this sanctuary, thankyou to everyone there that made it so enjoyable!Written 6 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
