The view is absolutely breathtaking! Visiting the statue on the hill is a must, as there’s so much to explore up there. Highly recommended!

I was walking on the beach in the morning. It was a really great view and long walk and lovely people around. It is the shade and sitting for rest. Some food and drink along the way. I did enjoy my time really!!! 😊✌️

A trip to Banana Beach is incomplete without taking a Banana Boat ride. You will feel a different kind of energy as you will be taken into deep waters through a boat that looks like a banana. These boats are long tubes filled with air that can carry 6 to 8 people. There will be handles on both sides for you to hold on to to avoid falling off. You will also be wearing life jackets that will keep you afloat in case you fall in the water. Exhilarate in a bouncy ride as a speed boat passes your boat, causing turmoil in the water. A thrilling activity that you indulge in at Banana Beach is underwater Sea Walking. You will need to get yourself trained before you can embark on this unique adventure activity.

Karon is the first beach south from the main Patong beach, only a 15 min tuk-tuk drive. It's a nice beach with golden sand and far less crowds. Spent an entire day there and watched the sunset you cannot see from Patong beach.

An absolutely wonderful experience, with lots of extras we didn't expect, the people that deal with the elephants are extremely caring towards them, very friendly and helpful during the visit. There are a team of photographers taking lots of photos although you can take photos as you wish on youre own devices as you want as well, these photos are then provided at no extra cost, there was also a lovely buffet to enjoy after showering, this was something on my bucket list and I'm so glad I chose this sanctuary, thankyou to everyone there that made it so enjoyable!

Had a lovely time here people are very friendly, beach is nice the bottom.end is quieter the top end is very crowded lots of bars, smoothie places the one next to Sunprime hotel have amazing juiced they also have jetskies etc. There are a lot of little streets with bars, restaurants shops. Shopping isnt great they all sell same things in shops beachy wear. We took trips to corel and raya island was lovely. Be careful of traffic they do not have pavements here it is scary crossing the main road.

The park is good but the show is average. It is like a Russian circus with trapeze artists and elephant stunts. You need not regret if you miss this in your Phuket Itinerary.

Go early and when the restaurant opens you can get a lounger in the shade for free! It's limited on shade so be prepared to be in the sun all day if you don't get a bed.
Queues for the food are hectic at lunch time so skip breakfast and have an early ish lunch.
We got a boat to the beach which meant a free entry, otherwise its a trek to get there and back and 100baht to enter.

What an amazing experience I will never forget. This is an ethical sanctuary and they truly care about these magnificent animals. Crazy Alex was our guide, his knowledge was brilliant and he was passionate about rescuing these animals. He told us how they get no funding or support for what they do and they rely on these visits and donations to keep the sanctuary running. They have to buy the elephants from the owners and can’t just take them even if they are neglected/abused. It’s so sad to think it’s not illegal for them to keep elephants chained up and abuse them by pulling logs for years and years with insufficient rest/food. Using them as circus acts and to make money from rides.
I commend those that try to save these.
I cannot recommend this visit enough.

Had such a relaxing beach day in Thailand here! Beach was generally clean, not as many people as Patong beach and the water was clean, calm and still. We had such a lovely day here, would recommend!

My wife and myself are currently holidaying in Phuket and earlier today we visited the impressive Wat Chalong Temple complex in the South of the Island.

It is in a sprawling compound with plenty to see but rest assured that you won’t be alone as there are many others likely to be there at the same time!!
