The 5th and 6th holes seem to be the subject of constant maintenance which hopefully will end soon. Quite surprised to see the amount of tree clearing that has gone on as you drive up the main road towards the clubhouse (or to the left of 12th hole) as well as the large void between 15th and 16th holes, many are hopeful that the ongoing hospital development will not lead to the course being disrupted or spoiled permanently, this would be a tragedy for what is the best course on Phuket.Written 21 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jun RSacramento, CA1,237 contributionsThis course prides itself as being the "most relaxing golf experience" in Phuket. This was certainly our experience. The views/scenery were spectacular. It's a short course but it does provide interesting challenges. The only reason I'm not giving this 5 Stars is the quality of the greens. These were easily the slowest greens we've ever played on. I'm not sure if that's by design but I think the quality of golf could be improved just by rolling the greens a bit more. Lakes (as named) had a lot more water, but it could be negotiated. The course was pretty, but fairways were patchy - not really up to standard. Greens were quite fast. My caddy had only been working a few weeks, so was really not helpful with regards to distances or where to (try) to hit, and seemed to be relying on my friend’s caddie for green reading help!
Canyon, as the championship course, had much better fairways, but the greens were surprisingly slow. The course is slightly longer and more accuracy is required. But the scenery was not quite so pleasing on the eye. Several greens were being sanded, for which we were not informed in advance. The Par 3 14th signature hole was spectacular though.

Range ball prices are decent (60THB) per skid 50THB on Sat/Sun) and the short game area is an added 120THB, but has some decent targets and bunker areas. However you need to pay in advance the green fees and cancellation is not easy. - Foxy Golf PhuketPhuket, Thailand1 contributionwith the price of golf green fees ever increasing in Phuket it was a nice surprise to find this company Phuket Golf Club Hire and there lovely owner Khun Foxy. most golf courses are charging 1800/2000 thb plus 7 pct VAT to hire good sets for one round and many are substandard this lady only charges Thb500 per set per day and she has over 80 sets in mens & ladies & lefthanded & kids clubs to choose from and all are in excellent condition and she will tailor make a set for you if you prefer TaylorMade irons and Titleist woods like myself. her service was fantastic so client driven and she also had very green green fees on offer at some golf courses .. give them a try you won’t be disappointed they have an excellent website to see clubs on also.Written 28 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Immaculate course with spectacular scenery. Very good caddie whose green reading and advice was first rate.
