What travellers are saying
- Voyager214247813581 contributionOur guide was a very very nice woman. We took a private boat tour to Ko He island/Banana beach. She snorkeled with our kids and the kids had a lot of fun with her, and so did we. She really was amazing. My little son really liked her. All the boat team was so kind and nice. I definitely recommend them.Written 26 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- BelindaPhuket, Thailand2 contributionsAmazing zipline in Phuket for anyone who is afraid of heights and likes the back end. I would like to recommend my friends to go and try zipline. It made my fear go away. With the view and the care of the staff is very good. and friends who go together It's fun to play together.Written 14 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. **Monkey temple**
The day started with a 2-hour drive(from Phuket) to the Monkey Temple, where we were given only 30 minutes to explore, use the restroom, grab a snack, and see the monkeys. Clearly, this wasn't enough time to fully experience the site.
** ATV Ride**
Next we had a very mediocre ATV(four wheeler) ride where we spent 20 minutes riding around in practically circles and the last 10 minutes near a river. The river scenery was nice but the issue was that we had to follow the staff very closely and was moving at a very slow pace which took away the thrill and excitement out of it.
**Elephant Trekking**
After that activity we had a short drive to a location for elephant trekking. What followed was the worst experience of the entire trip and honestly our entire stay here in thailand.
The elephants looked stressed, exhausted, and underfed. They were forced to carry two or even three people at a time, only getting breaks if there were no new riders waiting. Even those who rode them said the experience was uncomfortable, further proving how unnatural this activity is.
The worst part? How they were treated
- The handlers carried sharp metal sticks to keep the elephants in line.
- Their feet were chained.
- They looked desperately hungry when we fed them (which we had to pay for), they devoured the bananas in a way that felt like they were deliberately kept hungry just to make tourists feel bad and buy more food.
- A woman from our tour cried at the sight of a distressed elephant, and instead of offering an explanation, the guide coldly told her to buy bananas if she felt bad.
After the tour, we spoke to locals and learned about the Phajaan training method, which translates to Elephant Crushing. This brutal process is used to break an elephant's spirit through starvation, beatings, and isolation to make them submissive for tourist rides. If you don't believe me, Google it.
**Lunch & Zipline**
Lunch was provided, but compared to other tours, it was just okay. There wasn't much variety, and if you wanted more options, you had to pay extra.
The zipline was also quite disappointing. Just a 10-20 second ride, which felt more like a filler activity than a real experience. Definitely not worth the time.
**Waterfall**
The waterfall was nothing special, but at least the scenery was nice. Other members of the tour also swam which added to the experience. However, I noticed a large water pipe running behind it, which made me wonder if the waterfall was artificial rather than natural. When I asked the staff about it, I was not given an answer.
**Rafting**
The only highlight of this tour was rafting. The staff were fun, energetic, and engaging, making the experience much more enjoyable. They splashed water at us, created fun challenges, and took photos along the way. It was the one and only activity that felt worth itWritten 19 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. They show us a lot of special spots along a lot of islands scaping from the crowd of the typical tourist tours. They are very charm and friendly. the boat is very new and clean. Its snorkel and scuba diving equipement gives us a plus of adventure along our itinerary. Really great experience. thaks Edu and Monica !!Written 7 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
