From the gracious owner to the caring staff, both in the office and on the boat, it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. Constant and consistent communication via WhatsApp to make arrangements. Clarity around the tour, timeframe and location(s) but also flexibility to make it the best experience for you while on the boat. Our guide Oak and staff were wonderful while on the trip. We had the boat to ourselves and were attended to throughout. The boat was spotless and cared for. Oak was generous with his time and knowledge but also gave us space when we needed/wanted it. Now for the trip - 100% worth it. Absolutely beautiful landscape and water that made it unforgettable. I cannot recommend 5-Star Marine enough! Thank you to the staff there for making our first visit to Thailand a memorable one. The crew was absolutely amazing, made sure everything we needed we had and listened to what we wanted to do. We changed plans during the day and they were extremely accommodating. The beaches and places we went were absolutely breath taking. It was a fantastic day!
Also suggest you have Mac go along and take pictures. This is a paid option and it is well worth the money! Mac was with us the entire time and took all the pictures. We received the pictures within a day along with a wonderful video. - Luiz G6 contributionsAwesome private tour experience for my wife and me. Doing these two tours in one day is ambitious and can be overwhelming for those who get sea sick easily as you have a total of around 4+ hours of transit time at full speed.
Our tour guide Alex organized the tour in a way that we avoided crowds as much as possible and optimized our time. He knows every island and went above and beyond to make this a unique experience. We went inside caves and lagoons in the main islands around JB Island. At times we didn't see anyone else and we felt we were in the Blue Lagoon movie. His crew of 3 including the captain was always helpful catering to our needs, serving us drinks and making sure we were always comfortable and safe.
Alex lunch spot - Banrimnam Restaurant - is a hidden gem. Simple, fresh and delicious Thai seafood.
If I could do this again, I would start earlier - around 630 or 7am, to go to Phi Phi first avoiding the crowds and ocean choppiness, then heading towards the JB and other northern islands. If you go to the northern islands first like we did, you avoid the crowds, but run the risk of getting a choppy ride to Phi Phi if the weather turns and that can be rough. Alex recommended that, but we prioritized avoiding the crowds and ran the risk of riding in turbulent waters.
All in all, a truly amazing tour. 5 star marine is 5 star in every sense. The whole trip was brilliant even in heavy downpours. We learnt lots about Thai culture, cooking, the sites we visited and more from
woody.

- Malcolm Y5 contributionsThe private tour is an awesome way to see Phuket. Being a private tour, my tour guide Best was very accommodating in terms of the pace, level of information and the food. He was also very patient and offered many suggestions to get the best photos. Phuket is pretty big so it can be difficult to try to cover all the sites on your own. Best was very knowledgeable on the local food, and the pineapples from the local stand he recommended were amazing.
