What travellers are saying
- Coach BrianPhuket, Thailand3 contributionsWow... such a special place and special people... even the humans were pretty cool. We came to meet our sponsor cat and dog for the first time. The work they do is great... we felt humbled. If you are a dog owner and staff to a cat... you have to give this place a visit and if you have time spend 2 or 3 days as a volunteer... you won't regret it.Written 22 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- John TStotfold, UK20 contributionsGreat beach, fairly quiet but with plenty of bars/restaurants, stayed here for 3 weeks in May and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday.Written 6 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Ralf HOberglatt, Switzerland5 contributionsWe went with our rental motorbikes and walk down to the beach which taken about 15 minutes. Very beautiful beach and on that day we were the only visitors down there.Written 24 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Sophia K6 contributionsThe monkeys are adorable!!! They are friendly but definitely make sure that your bag is closed and don’t wear jewelry lol they are interested in them. Loved them!!!Written 9 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Lee GrintNewcastle upon Tyne, UK326 contributionsThis mall has a good variety of shops & restaurants to suit everyone. It's conveniently located in Patong too, it's the best mall in the areaWritten 5 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- RabiJhaHyderabad, India28 contributionsGreat views to Phuket. Nice photo op place. Should have some peaceful place to relax and enjoy for visitorsWritten 24 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- David TMelbourne, Australia85 contributionsWe love visiting this viewpoint. We always hire motorbikes and take a ride through Kata and up the hill to the viewpoint. There is a nice cafe on the way up the hill on the left that serves cakes, coffees and shakes. Z
Often at the viewpoint you can pay to have amazing photos holding a white falcon, and you can see amazing views of the beaches along the coast towards Kata and Karon. Great photo point on a clear day.Written 23 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - razor01Tasmania261 contributionsIts a must see, Wouldnt visit Patog without a night trip down this rd. Bars are fun, but not for a quiet drink. very loud music and lots happening, but great for people watchingWritten 10 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- tinataylor1109Doncaster, UK20 contributionsRecommend this market, lots of lovely food stalls , entertainment from locals singing & dancing . Gifts & handy crafts good prices . Very safe temperature checks , sanitiser and mask wearing compulsory. - Jennifer C3 contributionsGreat place to visit. Beach chairs are available for a small fee. Great experience having a massage on the beach!Written 9 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Edgar44 contributionsBeach is perfect for families and safe for swimming. Laid back with enough of options of food, restaurants, bars, massage parlors without being too overwhelming.
I have been to most beaches in Phuket and Kata for me has always been a favourite. Not the noise of Patong or the quiet of Kamala, but just in between.Written 20 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Joline A229 contributionsThis beach is beautiful and has a gorgeous sunset, but I don’t recommend it for swimming. The waves are very rough, and right now they have jellyfish in the water. It’s not a very good beach to walk on, as the sand is course but soft so your feet sink easily. It is close to Turtle Village and many of the resorts are on this beach.Written 18 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- vbulloughHalifax, UK128 contributionsfour of us hired a longboat from Rawai beach for 1500 baht. the trip across to Banana Beach in itself was great and took about 30 mins. We passed the slightly larger Long Beach on our way to Banana Beach by choice. It was beautiful. Nice sandy beach and 100 baht got you a deckchair. All usual facilities available. Sea warm and full of colourful fishes. Views to die for. Also some Watersport available. We went in the pm and my only regret is not going for the full day.Written 31 January 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
