Tours Maputo has Ofiço drive me and just wanted to emphasize how good the drive was - very professional, very safe and with his English so good we were able to have conversation the entire way which really helped the time go by - as did the scenery of course, especially in Eswatini where the countryside is more hilly. Our Tour Guide, Egas, provided us a very interesting and informative Tour of Maputo, Mozambique. Meeting him at the Port was simple. He brought us to many places and told us about the History, Cultures, and Peoples. A very personable and intelligent guide with excellent English Language, he answered all of the questions asked by members of our small group. The guides were extremely knowledgable, friendly, experienced, spoke perfect English, and set up a dynamic tour that combined culture, local food, history, and art. The car was clean, spacious and reliable. I 100% recommend MTS for anyone looking to get to know Maputo. The driver to and from Maputo was knowledgeable and professional. The tour guide was informative and responsive to our group. We saw a lot of animals and all around this was a well organized experience and worth the price. - Emma BWashington DC, DC2 contributionsOur group of 5 did a 2-day, 1-night safari from Maputo to Kruger National Park. We wanted to see Eswatini as well so Tours Maputo was able to work with us so that on the first day we drove to Hlane National Park and did a game drive before driving to Kruger to spend the night. The next day we did a full day in Kruger and drove back to Maputo arriving around dinner time. We had a friendly, safe driver who was on time and made sure we made it through border crossings ok. Our safari guides in Hlane were good and our guide in Kruger was excellent. Nice accommodation as well. The tour was an excellent value and a wonderful experience. - D E1 contributionA wonderful ride on beautiful Mozambique beaches. I was impressed with the attention to safety detail. As a competent rider I liked the fact that I was given safety stirrups and a hat to fit. Once on the horse two checks took place to make sure girth was tight and stirrups the right length. The lady taking the ride was lovely and we had amazing canters along a deserted beach and trots and long rein walks but at every step of the way safety of the horse a rider was paramount. This didn’t in any way diminish the enjoyment of the ride … but as a horse owner of 3, I really appreciate that consideration was given to horse and rider. I would thoroughly recommend this ride to any one out there who loves horse riding. The people couldn’t have been nicer and the horses were well trained responsive and forward going. It was a great afternoon and I would book again in a heartbeat. Well done Mandy and your team especially

The pick up in Maputo, the border burocracies, the articulation with kruger staff and the accommodation were all very well managed and everything was super confortable and smooth.

From the moment we arrived they, and their wonderful staff couldn’t have done more for us. The riding part was fun, challenging in places and provided a unique insight into this spectacular environment. Our guide, Simão, was excellent - warm, knowledgable and with a sense of humor. He was already waiting for us when we went to our arranged meeting place for an early morning departure. He assisted us at the border crossing and brought us to a Swazi cultural park, a fascinating candle fabricator, and markets. Hugo organised all rides, quoted the rate for the 2 days in Maputo and ensured
that the super friendly and very pleasant driver Lucas
was waiting for us at the airport.
Lucas was always on time and easy to communicate with, via whats app.
We felt very well looked after and safe at all times.
