What travellers are saying
- ShannonCHouston, TX11 contributionsWe visited for only 20 minutes at end of a tour but this is a gorgeous mixed purpose area. Residential, shopping, restaurants, activities for kids. Clean and safe. A complete surprise in the middle of Guatemala City. Next time we visit, we will stay at Bonvoy’s AC Hotel located here.Written 3 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Renee SSterling, VA291 contributionsContemporary mall in the center of the city. Lots of well known brand name shops and boutiques. Major restaurant and big food court. There is a movie theater Cinépolis but didn’t check it out. From the entrance to the individual stores they take extra precautions for sanitation. They take ur temperature as u come in, then sanitizer stations through out the mall. I felt very safe.Written 22 October 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- LuizDutraNetoRio de Janeiro, RJ8,613 contributionsIf you are visiting Ciudad de Guatemala, make sure to do not miss its high-end "Plaza Fontabella" mall, right at the heart of its affluent "Zona Rosa". With an attractive architectural project, which even includes a very Spanish "Plaza Mayor", you'll be able to shop and eat at a modern, comfortable and safe mall. Enjoy!Written 31 July 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Panamajoe2017Sechelt, Canada319 contributionsA good place to eat a meal or shop for souvenirs. Prices seemed reasonable for both. Well worth a wander around to snap pics.Written 13 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- franciscomoralesUnited States228 contributionsThis was my first mall to visit when I was in Guatemala. It’s amazing how nice and great their malls are compared to the ones we have in the US. This place has areas opened to the outside so you get to enjoy Guatemala’s great weather and nature while shopping. While this place is considered smaller than others they do have a lot of shopping and dining options. This is a must when in the area.Written 23 May 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- QasemHalifax, Canada353 contributionsThe mall in general was nice, but it was less than average compared to other malls in the city.
The movie theatre was nice, but not many movies were playingWritten 10 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Adam LIceland48 contributionsParque las americas is a long walking park with monunements dedicated to and donated by other countries in the americas. It was fun to see the disjointedness of it all. Some of the monuments for tiny countries were humongous while larger countries has tiny monuments. We were there on a Saturday night so the locals were out in full force. There is a giant Little Ceaser Pizza shop somewhere towards the middle and I can honestly say I've never seen so many people eating that crappy pizza in one place! But, all things being equal, I'm sure it's a treat and not just gas station food like it is for us tourists. The Uruguay monument had a pedastil that said Artigas but was missing a statue, which is appropriate if you know anything about the "national hero" of Uruguay (he was not from there). I give 5 stars to the Canada monument!Written 21 November 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- fGregorioGuatemala City, Guatemala8 contributionsLast time I went I was surprised to find it looking more like a ghost town. Most shops and restaurants in the food court are closed. There are not that many places still holding it together although if Walmart, cinemas and krispy creme are your thing, you'll find them there.Written 26 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Mela BGuatemala City, Guatemala265 contributionsHas a lot of stores and restaurants, you can spend a whole afternoon there and there a lot of different eating options.Written 11 February 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Millet02Atlanta, GA508 contributionsThe is a variety of beautiful items here, and fairly low key for a tourist shopping area. We were barely hassled at all, and enjoyed our walk through.Written 11 May 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
