What travellers are saying
- Journey407565040921 contributionThe team has a definite structure set. Two STRONG suggestions:
A separate cashier check-in line for those who have already purchased return tickets ( doesn't make logical sense to have passengers check in again and stand in a line with those who are waiting to purchase tickets).
Please have the team announce to utilize headphones when listening to a device ( I requested for a team member to speak to another passenger, but he stated that he couldn't ). Place signs( use headphones as a friendly reminder.
One more thing, there was a grounds team member ( San Pedro) who attempted to arrange ground transportation for me… tall thin Hispanic young person... He stated that his friend would charge me USD 30 to get to the airport. I inquired if was he confused several times… In summary ns a co-worker shared the concise cost. Why would this guy think that he can cheat a woman from Chicago is beyond me😂😂

I personally loved how well kept and maintained the property is. Also our tour guide told us a wealth of information regarding the ruins and its preservation. Highly recommend this tour.
Also, there is a restaurant on site and the local food was amazing and given the summer's heat, water and soft drinks and snacks are also accessible for purchase after the tour.Written 15 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Exhibits included the history of slavery in Belize, colonial artifacts & history, an art gallery upstairs and some bird taxidermy. Entry fee was a very reasonable $7 US.Written 21 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Johanna KDawsonville, GA48 contributionsMy friend & I were on a cruise excursion & thought the Crystal cave with tubes & lunch would be fun !! It was over an hour bus ride but our guide Peter made it so fun & interesting !! He told us about Belize, sang a song, made us laugh, it was a great trip !! The caves were huge inside some parts & Peter was very knowledgeable about the cave which made it interesting. We’re (senior citizens) & he made sure we were safe & helped us when needed, which wasn’t very much Lol. The food was good but the drink I ordered was even better !! Overall a great experience !!Written 18 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Dana HChesterton, IN7 contributionsEasy ride to Caye Caulker! About $39 US. Scenic ride. Quiet. The terminal is nice. Grab an iced coffee before you go. Ride is about an hour.Written 6 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- AndreaNVancouver, Canada108 contributionsWe were very impressed by how organized, punctual and effective they are with their passengers, luggage and everything else they transport to and from the islands! The boats are not big, so they can be harsh on the back in rougher seas like we had on the way to San Pedro. The way back was smooth and relaxed.
When booking a round trip online, you don't get you choose a return date and time. This can only be picked upon checkin at the terminal. We found out though, that if you email them beforehand mentioning your rountrip reservation, they can reserve a specific date and time for the return for you. This was very important to us, as we were 4 with luggage and needed to be on a specific ferry back to the mainland...Written 12 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It could've just been the day.
The manmade island is pretty, but the swimming and snorkeling on the island is not ideal. The water is chest deep and not clear. The food is ok and the bathrooms smell.
You can see many starfish and collect lots of shells as you walk around! They have a full bar and serve coconut water as they collect them from the palms. The boat ride back to our ship made this trip! Between the drinks, entertaining staff, music and dancing, we had a good time.Written 8 August 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I have to be honest we are 46 and 49 and almost made it to the waterfall but had to turn back due to the degree of slippery rocks, water that we were walking in, and no real trail to get there. We started slipping and our feet very uneasy under us so we decided to be safe and turn back. This was still an amazing experience and breath taking. On our way back there was an area of water that we crossed about knee deep that we were able to sit down in and cool off in the crystal clear water.Written 30 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. And yes, after the walk around the building & taking a peek inside from the entrance was just heading back out due to the admission (which I never had to pay on my cathedral visits except at some big cathedrals with museums & such inside which I'm quite sure is not the case inside this one).
And actually just across the street from one side of this cathedral is the Government House which is a 2-storied beautiful heritage building with a spacious front lawn & a not-too-high lovely fence (but closed to public at the time due to some renovation or such going on). And also nearby, at just about a 5-minute walk from this cathedral (by heading back along the street between this cathedral & the Government House in the direction of downtown but a right turn shortly after leaving) is the waterfront area like a "long promenade" from which there's a view of both the Creek & the sea beyond (from near one end of the promenade).Written 17 January 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
