Authentic Slovakia Bratislava
While on these tours you can learn about the country and its history in a fun way.
Juro was a great tour guide--his unvarnished overview of the 20th century history of Slovakia and Bratislava was very informative and interesting.

We took two tours consisting of a visit to Orava castle, an open-air museum, shopping & espresso in Zakopane, Poland, Belianska cave and a cultural museum where we had the most fun trying on kroj.
Thanks to Erik of Adventoura for a great seven day excursion-packed Winter Holiday, including dog-sledging, a first try on the nursery ski-slopes, snow-shoeing, carriage ride and general tour.

All in all, we very highly recommend booking your trip through Best Slovakia Tours and, if you are an experienced hiker ready to push yourself a bit, Marcel is an absolutely excellent guide!
After researching various companies that offered small group tours in Slovakia and Poland, we selected Peter and Jane Blazicek owners of Best Slovakia Tours.

Had a great three hours on the craft beer tour, really interesting, informative and a fun guide in Martina.
I highly recommend this tour as it was a perfect way to get a feel for the local food and drink and at many places that only locals know about.

Bratislava Bites Bratislava
Our tour guide was Miro whom conducted the tour in English, one of his three (or was that four?) fluent languages.
After some almost 3 hours spent in the city we were very happy with the result of the tour and with the knowledge of ouor tour guide.

Michal is very knowledgeable, professional and a joy to work with in exploring my family's roots, as well being an excellent tour guide!

Tatransky Dom Vysoke Tatry
We had a quick tour while staying in Slovakia.People who have made those statues are very talented. It must take a lots of effort to create something so beautiful.
You can get there on your feet (cca 45 minutes - but very light tour) or by cable car, but it is a little expensive, because you don´t have a great view to Tatry, and it is about 5 minutes drive on railway.
Vino Fiala Modra
I've been in a lot of wine tours around the world by now, and here in Martin's place there was truly something beyond the normal tour.
After 5 bottles of excellent wine and a 4 course meal Martin took us for a private tour in his cellar for more wine tasting.
Mountain Addiction Nova Lesna

Climbing up to Gerlachovsky stit was the highlight of our trip through Slovakia and Michal Gercák was the perfect guide for our tour.
The website offered Family History Tours and after several email exchanges, I was able to work out an itinerary that would take my wife and I to the village in Eastern Slovakia where my grandfather was born, in 1884.
Also, she has had experience leading tours for 7 seasons.
