This review is for the Mornington store. I went in to pick up my online order and left with extra items because I adored it all. We have been using their plates for a while now, but needed more. They are all fantastic quality and the perfect size for portions big or small. Dishwasher, Microwave and oven friendly, you can’t go wrong. Also the staff are divine. Thanks guys!

Suki’s art work is amazing!! It is so happy and just gorgeous! I absolutely love her shop!

I have been into her shop many times and brought things and also I have brought things through her website. She is so nice, always responds so quickly to your orders and emails and my orders are always perfect and on time. I have had 4 different items custom made for me and Suki sends me through a few different ideas of colours, fonts etc to see what I like best which is awesome.

We brought a gorgeous bunny print with our daughter’s name on it for her first birthday (which everybody says how beautiful it is) and I have brought 3 custom made mugs from her which are adorable (they come in really cute boxes too and are great as gifts).

I never write reviews but this place is just too cute and the service is so great and so friendly. Thanks Suki!!!

I do wonder how many people actually pay attention to reviews or even believe them. I have read some in the past and thought they're fake or exaggerated but here I go, about to (not) exaggerate about Rod's.

I've dealt with a handful of people from this place and every single one of them have been bloody fantastic. Kindness and caring has been shown to me, and also my Mum who has recently been ill, and it takes just one phone call or one interaction with a person who has a good heart to make a bad day a little better. Thank you for that.

I have dealt mostly with a lady named Emily (Em), who has been so gracious, so helpful and kind and thoughtful.

I spoke with Sarah (sp?) today on the phone, who was also lovely and kind and appreciative.

The delivery drivers have been mindful when they place the heavy boxes at the door so they're not damaging the products inside, they're good enough to wait for you to get to the door without dropping and dashing like so many other companies do (that really pisses me off) and they're friendly with a smiley face, which makes the experience a good one.

In addition, every order I've ever had so far has come with a personalised note on the receipt that makes Mum and I smile. Who does this anymore?? Rod's staff do. God bless them all. XO

To give readers an idea of the quality of food, we have ordered ready-made meals such as the 1.2kg Lasagna, the Eggplant Parma and the Spinach and Ricotta Cannelloni as well as Sticky Date Pudding. Omg, these meals are f'n orgasmic.
We've also purchased Fruit and Veg Mystery Boxes and the volume of produce for $45 is astounding. Not only is there such a variety (up to 30 different items) but the quality is not on the same scale as Coles or Woolies. Within days, the produce from the big supermarkets is dying off, even though we keep them stored in Tupperware containers specifically for particular fruit and veg. With Rod's, I have a 1/4 pumpkin that is STILL going strong after 15 days in the fridge.
The asparagus we got was thick and so fresh that when I cooked it I swear Mum's eyes rolled into the back of her head and she went to heaven. lol

Anyhow, I can go on and on and on about this place, but I won't. I have dishes to do. But if you ever want to experience QUALITY produce, then stop giving money to those wankers at Coles and Woolies who couldn't provide quality produce if they were paid to do it (oh wait, they ARE paid to do it!), and give Rod's a go.

Try it for yourself. My Mum is a fussy old woman and she loves the ready-made meals, even the pasta ones which she isn't a great fan of pasta generally, but she LOVES the products Rod's offers.

To the staff of Rod's Fruit & Vegetables... thank you, from Mum and I, for looking after us during a tough period of our lives. Thank you for making the effort to ensure our food is of the best quality every time. Thank you for taking the moments to write us a kind, thoughtful note with every delivery. Thank you for listening and understanding and looking after us.

On a side (and special) note to Roxanne, the Owner, I want to thank you even more so for looking after us over this trying past year. We've supported each other it seems. I wish you and yours all the best and good luck with the new shop!
