What travellers are saying
- BJCSydney, Australia308 contributionsI've been coming to Manly for45 years and it keeps getting better. It has a local vibe but also is embracing to the tourist. Walks on beach or promenade are great and there are nice shops on the Corso and South Steyne Rd. Better not to bring your car.Written 16 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Lisa F15 contributionsMost gorgeous beach with iconic coastal views. You’ll get the best vacation pictures of your life here so head back at sunset. Bondi has a very strong current so keep your sunglasses in your bag or you’ll get hit by a wave and lose them like I did. Be sure to swim between the flags and wear plenty of sunblock. Don’t be deceived by the clouds.Written 17 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- leuveenUnited Kingdom1,284 contributionsWide, sandy beach with huge waves - plenty of space in the sun, some shadowy areas, water, shower, plenty of cafes and anything else you may need close by.Written 22 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - leuveenUnited Kingdom1,284 contributionsNarrow beach, great for snorkeling and observing fish. Has lots of seaweed but is a very beautiful place so don't let that part stop you from visiting.Written 22 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AndyJohn74Sans Souci, Australia3,391 contributionsTo get to the Murray Rose Pool, the visitor needs to go through Blackburn Gardens. There are some paths that lead to the stairs down to the pool. There are a couple of platforms for sitting on or diving off as well as a walkway the entire way around the pool enclosure.Written 5 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - HNL2SFOPacifica, CA34 contributionsA short bus ride from Manly Wharf, you will find a memorial to the great Duke Kahanamoku, who introduced surfing to Australia over 100 years ago. On a sunny and warm winter day the beach and water looked inviting and the surfing looked good. The village is along the bus line, with plenty of options for a bite to eat.Written 1 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Chris WBudapest, Hungary484 contributionsA nice beach. Go early or avoid during public holidays. Cafes and places to sit along the way if needed. Not as popular as Cronulla but that's a good thing.Written 5 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- María Eugenia Fernández BollSydney, Australia10 contributionsGreat place to go with family

A large popular rockpool can be found at the southern end of this beach with some basic amenities. More amenities can be found at the surf club and main car park. Popular beach for swimming, surfing, walking or just taking in the view. Close to shops and food outlets.Written 7 July 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- OldjackGreater Melbourne, Australia27,929 contributionsLady Bay is a small sandy alcove , a number of rocks and a few bare male bodies on a sunny day (in winter) below a naval station that occupies most of the land. It opened up to baring all in 1976 and even on a winter's day there were some clowns with their gear off making photography difficult.Written 29 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Geeta BSydney, Australia25 contributions45 mins cruise ride away from Sydney CBD but a lovely small island with best view of Sydney Harbour Bridge, Opera house & Sydney skyline. - sydneysider48Sydney, Australia1,154 contributionsParsley Bay is one of the hidden gems of Sydney harbour: a small inlet with a gently shelving beach and pleasant lawn adjacent to the beach. Although parking and access are somewhat difficult, it's worth the effort to see this lovely bay, its interesting suspension bridge and the surrounding opulent area.Written 30 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AndyJohn74Sans Souci, Australia3,391 contributionsThe views are pretty spectacular as are the rock formations. Even when the weather is not the best it is still a nice place for a wander. Lots of park benches along the way or even a dip in an ocean pool, but only on a calm day.Written 15 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
