Easy to catch train there , then it’s a downhill walk to the pool , good price for family swim , the view of the habour bridge while your swimming is breath taking ! Shared the family change rooms , caught the ferry back to circular quay stop ! Great family day out !

Fantastic bay thats netted with plenty of places to lay or sit and relax before or after swimming. There is a fresh water outlet to rinse off or across the road showers and toilets right beside the cafe. Pleasant way to spend a few hours and easily reached by the ferry. My next stop on a hot day in Sydney

Visited with my 23 year old son who is a member. Good variety of walls colour holds which are graded in difficulty. They change a section of wall every week.
Looks like great fun. Certainly a great atmosphere when I visited.
Quality coffee available at very reasonable prices too (starting at $4)

All day fun for less than $30 for a family of 5. Can get a little hectic during peak school holiday times but for the price, you can’t complain.

With an $8.80 fee for adults, it’s more expensive than other Public Pools. But facility wise, upkeep & cleanliness wise it’s superior to other Sydney Public Pools. When do they open the diving tower / diving pool though?
But like any Sydney Pool, it’s best avoided on warm weekends & warm school holidays, it’s just too crazy crowded. That’s just a sad fact of life in Sydney now, as the population increases, more public pools are not only not being built, they’re closing down !

I brought a group of 18 people here on a Friday afternoon. Had a great time. Would recommend it. Prefer it to indoor rock-climbing as no-one is lumbered with the task of balaying.

We live in the local area and had never visited this pool before. On a hot day we decided around 4:00pm to try. We were very happy with our visit. Its a nice local pool, with lap lanes for serious swimmers and splash lanes for the not so serious (me!). They also had a childs wading pool. We left around 5:30pm and it was still open, though half the pool was divided for some activity.
I'd recommend visiting! It would also be a great way to cool down after doing the Bay Run as its on the route!

Situated in the heart of Sydney, opposite the Australian Museum and Hyde Park. They have swim lanes for the “serious” swimmers and a huge play pool for everyone else. There is also a sun area which is normally open along with a wave machine but due to recent Covid outbreak you can’t but this will be back to normal soon fingers crossed. The water is a little cool but you do get used to it. Suitable for families of all ages with the leisure pool opening on a slope so perfect for those younger children. It is reasonably priced and they do have lessons there.

    Hello Redfern Team,
It is some weeks now since I did my class with Narelle Clark, but I haven't forgotten the beautiful experience. I wanted to let you know what a fabulous teacher she is.
I was more than impressed with her teaching. I have enjoyed all your teachers during my time with you, but Narelle was a standout. For the first time ever, she showed me exactly how to use the machine, how to adjust straps, how to use the headrest, how to take out the foot rests etc. I learned a lot.
I work for Qantas and my field is customer service. So Narelle immediately stood out to me. She has those unique people skills.
Narelle was such an advocate and had such a passion for body mindlife that I thought she must be an owner and invested in that way.
So a big thank you to Narelle and I look forward to returning and taking one of her classes again soon. She was pretty amazing! Thank you,
    Donna Hall

My go to place to watch a big fight, whether it be UFC or boxing. The staff are quite friendly and helpful. Big screens all around, plenty of beer options on tap. Also love the gesture of providing free Mount Franklin bottled water to the crowd. My only criticism would be when be fights are on, would love to see more chairs available.
