Its a cheap activity and I don't think we had to pay for our 11 year old son. - Pat WSittingbourne, UK521 contributionsWe were amazed at the wide expanse of Sandy beaches, complete with a wooden boardwalk. There were beach bars, with toilet facilities, every 400 yards or so, so plenty of places to relax with food and drink.

The food and service was excellent.

- John Z1 contributionWe were a group of 20 and played there on the 28/9. The clubhouse is being refurbished but they have set up cabins for reception and bar,these were fine.
The putting green was out of use but we were given free balls for the range.
Apart from some of the greens that were patchy (still ran true)the course was in great condition.
The staff were very friendly and helpful as usual and we had a great time.

It’s had some serious rain while we were there so carts only on paths or rough but I didn’t mind its a good course with some challenging holes the 6th short par 3 with water to the left and the 17th again with water to the right. Beers helped me keep it straight.

- Paul DBallymena, UK333 contributionsVery difficult to find as it is quite a way outside Vilamoura but if you want a nice secluded place for a peaceful game of bowls contact Amadeus and book an hour play for €10.
It is about 1.5 miles out of Vilamoura in the opening between the main carriageway and some high rise dwellings, we seemed to walk for ever before we found it and local Vilamourans have never heard of it so asking the way is not great, one green seems to be out of use due to Ring Disease which I am sure the owners are treating as it is a very infectious disease and easily spread to other bowling greens just by walking on it.Written 22 May 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Thought the greens were pretty good obviously very soft and slow but didn’t worry me. Just played winter rules
