- Richard HWodonga, Australia18 contributionsLovely warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are very friendly, the food was lovely, the drinks of course were great, and the little band put on good entertainment . Coming from oz, we had a great evening here and highly recommend it to anyone who likes a great night out at a pub!Written 28 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SheilaWolverhampton, UK3 contributionsI have been to the laughter lounge quite a few times, and every time I have enjoyed it a lot. It became a place I bring friends to when they're visiting me too.Written 21 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - lorna mEdinburgh, UK1 contributionA great night out. Frank and Finbar were fantastic storytellers. They tell the stories of Irish authors in a fun and engaging way. Great value too. I would definitely recommend.Written 3 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- John28 contributionsCame here on a Friday afternoon and we found service was very friendly.
We had two pints of Guinness and asked for a recommendation for a whiskey chaser and could not have suggested a better whiskey from the Barman.

- Kate MEdinburgh, UK70 contributionsStopped by for a drink and got lost in all the old photographs. There is so much social history on view on every wall. It was quiet when we were in but i can imagine it will get very busy and some great nights will be had here. Hope to return in the future to sample further.Written 4 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - themovabletypeBoulder, CO8 contributionsLocked out of my Airbnb flat across South Temple Lane (directly behind the place) after a long Stockholm-to Copenhagen-to Dublin day and the lovely bouncer across the street offered to let me use the facilities. Went in and was quite glad I did- the bands here are raucous and cover Queen Bey and Flobots rather than the same tired Lumineers and Angus/Julia Stone numbers. The staff—especially aforementioned bouncer and one incredible bartender—were ace. Definitely more of a dive atmosphere than the rest of the old-timey-tourist places, far less pretentious than any European bar I’ve been to outside of Berlin, have never seen a room full of grown men sing Lion King songs 😂 worth a visit if you’re not stuck on yourself and like to meet reasonable folks! 10 Euro minimum on card in case you’re a cheap date, and not a place where you’ll want to have an in-depth conversation, but you’re in Dublin, so...Written 2 August 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Toria ⭐️San Francisco, CA49 contributionsLovely cafe upstairs from a quant little book shop. You have to buy the books prior sitting in the cafe so might as well bring your own book. Many of the books seem to be a bit pricey. I found one boon that they we’re selling for 22 euros on amazon for 12. Nice atmosphere and coffee however.Written 9 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
