A great waterpark for the whole family from young children to teens and adults. I'd recommend staying the night at Holiday Inn that's connected to the waterpark as you can receive benefits and tokens to use at the park.

The temple seems nice, not a lot of steps to climb, near the sea. Have a lot of monkeys around this area, according to tour guide, those monkeys are quite aggressive so better stay away from them. A lot of local seafood restaurants around so can spend few hours here to have lunch.

...of the old and new. I like this temple too much, probably my favorite here in Hua Hin. I read a few other reviews that stated this temple is unkept and not maintained very well. I disagree. Yeah, there's a few spots here and there that could use a little paint or fixing up, but the place has a beauty and charm to it that makes such seem trivial. I thought the waterfall with the elephant praying was pretty cool. I was able to do my meditation here as well. I found a beautiful new structure up near the top, played some chanting on my cell, and meditated my usual 15 to 20 minutes. When I finished, I turned around to see four middle-aged women were waiting for me to finish. They all were dressed in white but didn't have shaved heads, so I'm not sure if they were nuns or not. Possibly some kind of supplicant or adherent or something like that. Anyway, they wanted me to take some photos of them which I did. For some reason, I found the whole experience very engaging and alluring. I wanted to see what they were going to do but I didn't and left. I should have. I guess one shouldn't at a temple.

Nice sunset with family before heading for dinner. Took a tuk tuk from my hotel here for 200baht, had the mobile tuk tuk driver so i call him to pick me up later as there is not tuk tuk waiting at this attraction, we strolled along the beach for 45 mins

One of the place to visit in Hua Hin. Very magnificent, detailed, huge kind of statues of Thai's previous kings.

Remember to bring umbrella or bring a cap/hat when visiting this place as there's no shades nearby the statues.

The Siam Statues are absolutely huge and worth a visit. They are slightly outside Hua Hin so, if you don't have a car, the best way to get there is by Grab (the local version of Uber). The taxi will drop you off at the visitors center where there are a few shops. There is then a regular and free shuttle bus to the statues. They are located in vast square in the middle of the park. You can by drinks and snacks there, take the shuttle bus back to the visitors center and book a Grab back to wherever else you want to go.

This typical Thai Temple is on the side of a mountain and the grounds are on different levels. There is a stairway which leads to a huge Buddha overlooking Hua Hin.
Well worth a visit even though the stairs are for the fit and healthy!

...close to Wat Khao Takiab and Wat Khao Krailart which makes for a wonderful day out exploring temples in the area. This one looks to be the newer of the three. It's quite large and seems to be a work in progress. I walked the whole grounds. At one point some dogs were on the verge of attacking me until a monk chased them away. Nice guy. What else happened here? I did get a second meditation in on the day. This time, there was somebody else there meditating as well. And I didn't have turn on my phone to listen to some chanting, there was actually a live monk doing some. It is very unusual that I meditate with other people. Always thought extremists do religious practices in groups: pray, meditate, chant, whatever. In my opinion, people who do such on their own are more sincere about it. Other than that, nothing spectacular to report here. Looks like a big community temple that has lots of facilities for people to come together and gather. I'm never involved in any of that I guess.
