The absolute highlight of my trip- the history and the architectural beauty of this magnificent building is so overwhelming that I am lost for words! I could easily spend the entire day there...

Recommend booking tickets in advance as there was a small queue outside the entrance by 9.30am (weekday) already!

The audio guide can be rented at the Patio de los Narajos with a small fee (also need to leave some sort of ID as a "deposit"). The mosque/cathedral staff kindly let us leave the building, then re-enter via the Exit to get the audio guide.

This is an amazing exhibition and Pedro gave us an incredible amount of information. He was an enthusiastic and very knowledgeable guide. Pedro did not speak much English but we understood most of what he told us although our Spanish is not of the best, and he is a goldmine of information. There are some very intriguing things in this exhibition and it was fascinating to see how much history is stored in this museum. Well worth a visit and there is a tasting at the end of your visit. The coffee Anis is really nice. A place not to be missed.

Although the castle has undergone extensive renovations it is still very much a medieval castle with most of the rooms depicted as they would have been used when first constructed. As other reviewers have stated, it is one of the location sites from Game of Thrones and for good reason. A fun place to take children as well as adults. The castle can be rented for events. Nonetheless, it is a beautiful place with wondrous views.

A gorgeous rabbit warren of stunning white washed streets adorned with Geraniums on every wall. Great views out over the countryside and a simply wonderful place to wonder through. Take your time to see every crevice! I would suggest doing this after you have visited the churches and castle. Everything closes at 13:30...so leave the fountain and barrio to the end so you can enjoy them after lunch!

Very calming atmosphere inside the sanctuary which is wonderfully decorated and outside the 360 degree view shows 5 different Spanish provinces.

There is a Festival Competition during the first two weeks in May, so this is the time to see the open patios at their peek. We did go on a guided tour and I would strongly suggest doing this as they have local knowledge and we were taken to the winners and the unusual ones. So beautiful. You need to be happy to walk for a couple of hours.

many thanks to visit in the old town and around. Get a organized tour, it will make your life life much easier and you may learn a lot (faster and Q/A). I paid 50 Euros for many monuments and I considered a far price 4.5 hours ride... Get water hat and good shoes?..

Brilliant gardens, fountains and fantastic collection of impressive mosaics.
The use of cheap plastic/polythene barrier tape extensively throughout the gardens really detracted visually and in many situations was completely unnecessary. Where barriers were wanted or needed the situation was crying out for a more sympathetic and better quality solution. Otherwise an excellent attraction.

We arrived to the most wonderful place with amazing views and easy parking. We were welcomed by Jose Luis. It has been a great experience, something I never experienced before been an animal lover. I would strongly recommend the experience for everyone but specially kids, it is a unique educational visit. Jose Luis passion for nature, his love and knowledge about animals is contagious. I feel privileged to have had this experience and I will most definitely repeat next time we visit.

After having visited Aquopolis in Sevilla we knew we would like this place, too! It was another boiling hot day perfect for this. The place was clean, nice rides for us all (kids 9,12,15) pleasant staff doing their work to keep everyone safe. Yes the rides are quite short but a lot of fun anyway. And the huge pool was great, too. We paid 45e. for VIP zona- was worth it even if somewhat overpriced. Own nice patio area with shade, sun chairs, table and 4 chairs, 2 doughnuts for the rides...The park was half empty on a Tuesday. No lines. Lots of locals, no tourists seen. Very limited English skills but everyone was friendly and tried their best to help if we asked for something. No issue with rash vests- I wore mine the whole day. Food services limited as most guests seemed to bring their own food. Really nice day out with out family! We would all go again!

What about a less touristy place in Andalucía? Priego del Cordoba is a nice choice to escape and a great surprise was to find the Fuente del Rey. I recommend.

Great place for a walk on a sunny day. We suggest going in February to March since (after that) it will get too hot for most Northern Europeans !!

The paths are well laid out and easy to follow along the river.

We went round the museum first which is a few minutes walk away from the main building. Lots of old barrels of Brandy which was unexpected, and then a wonderful old house and the patio with it's pots and flowers, ponds and fountains.

Followed this with the distillery tour (well a mock up of one) but very interesting and samples of the different types of Anis they make. Obviously you end up in the shop where you can purchase if you want to.

Well worth the effort to see if you are in the area with a couple of hours to spare.
