- FedericaV84Milan, Italy176 contributionsDon't lose this place if you want to know where a rich family in the Middle Age lived in Piedmont. Affrescos, wooden forniture will tell you everything about this house and what it saw over the centuries.Written 15 August 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Claude MVence, France935 contributionsBeautiful church and cloister at the top of the old town.
Enjoy walking through the old town, climb to the top to enjoy the views of the valley, and then explore the nearby church and cloisterWritten 1 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The interior is very large with three aisles and a number of interesting side chapels. Much of what you see dates from the 15th thru 18th centuries. Note the beautiful woodwork, especially the Choir and organ which date from 1780.
The left aisle deserves special attention for the chapel of SS. Sacramento, built in 1729, which holds the preserved sixteenth-century altarpiece by Hans Clemer, originally placed on the high altar.Written 14 December 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We really enjoyed the wolf exhibition and the medieval section of the castle and the English information was so informative. The prison was interesting however we didn't understand a lot as there was no English translation in this section. Would recommend a Visit here if in Saluzzo.Written 23 April 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- alexsH4898QFRome, Italy8 contributionsThe palazzo comunale has some paintings from a local artist, which are nice. But the torre civica is amazing. On a clear day, you can have a wonderful view of all the mountains around Saluzzo. The stair is a little bit narrow and long (about 130 steps), but certainly worthy.Written 23 April 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
